    It definitely worked for the movie. For an Eddie solo show, it would also certainly work. For a pre-set, it might work. If Eddie wanted to do it solo at the start of the encore while sitting on stool, it could work.

    As a song placed randomly in a set list and played more than 1-2x per year? I don't think so.

    They played it at my first PJ show, and it was great. The version on the actual Big Fish soundtrack isn't nearly as good as it is live. Ed's voice seems harsher on the soundtrack, which is strange. I guess they just refined it since they recorded it.

    I love the version from Milan in 2006...

    Eddie doesn't soar on the studio version, and for that reason it's never got above a 6 for me.

    However that live version from Milan is a 8

    9/10...great great song. I'll agree with an earlier post that it has to be placed right in a set to really work though. They played it in Missoula during the 1st encore "campfire mode" little set and it was awesome.

    I don't think it would work as well somewhere in the middle of a PJ show.
    But...

    I would love it so much if they played it and I was there, so I will give it a 10 regardless.

    I always thought that man of the hour and dead man went hand in hand. to me dead man is a much better song, man of the hour is great as well but just not as good. I think it had great potential but for some reason it comes up a little short. i'd give it a solid 7.

    J just saw it recently. It was better than I expected.

    (So many 10 ratings for the song, wow..... it's a great song, but I didn't realize that it actually blows people's minds so much that it warrants a 10, which to me means it's one of the greatest songs ever written in the history of the world).
