Meanwhile...Soundgarden & Matt keep adding to their Fall tour.

Wow, I didn't even realize this. So the first 3 weeks of September Matt will be in Europe with Soundgarden. I agree with the OP. Fuck this shit. I had so much optimism earlier in the year. Oh how it has deteriorated.
Someone in the Soundgarden Tour thread said after a Soundgarden show a couple weeks ago, he/she asked Matt about a PJ tour and he said sometime in October. Just relax.

This band has some nerve not releasing tour info when it is convenient for some people's schedules.

bitching about the timeliness of a tour announcement so you can jet set around the country to see a band at a cheaper rate.

    first world problems.

How are they jet setting ? [rude comment removed, PM sent],are people entitled to there own opinion ?

(and jet set is a somewhat appropriate term)

i think ed is waiting to finalize what beaches he wants to surf, and jill is still narrowing down what cities have the best shopping districts in the country.

I think I cannot hide my jealousy with 'kids going to college'. Felt like I wasted 20 years of my life.
With limited income, kids heading to college this year and next, a recent home purchase, and a recent vehicle purchase, the cost of a show not in my town (Vegas) is going to prove to be a difficult, if not impossible expenditure.

That being said, the band is going to put butts in the seats no problem. To think that they have one iota of concern of how much it's going to cost you to get there, is a joke - one that should have become obvious at least five years ago. I love the band's music, and will continue to purchase it and see them live whenever possible. You can keep your dog collars, track suits, scarves, overpriced t-shirts, and other collectible nonsense.

No horse in this race for me, but let's be honest, pretty much every problem ALL of us have beyond life and death is first world, yet it is oddly used a lot around here as sort of the "in" thing to say.

This is the luxury of being great..supply and demand. They know we will be there no matter what. Dog collars, scarves, side projects have to be milked, and then we hopefully get what most of us are here for, seniority based seating for non festival PJ shows. Again, when you are the best you get to call the shots.

Ok, your passion is so appreciated and understandable, to say the least. :D

Too many rude comments here so thread is done. Be polite to each other and to the band and organization or the thread/topic will not be ok. Patience is a good thing...and good things are coming.

    Have a great week, all.
