I saw...geez...fourteen shows between 2003-05: in 2003, Buffalo, State College, Toronto, Montreal, Hershey; in 2004, Boston x2; in 2005, Thunder Bay through Toronto inclusive. Some of the best nights of my life, chief among them Thunder Bay (hometown show in the building where I learned to skate), Buffalo (best show I've ever seen), State College, Ottawa, Bono joining Pearl Jam on "Rockin' in the Free World" (having seen Eddie sing "Ol' Man River" with U2 two nights prior), and--if we're talking great, underrated shows--Montreal 2003. So many memories.

man love to hear these stories, I always see threads for other Tours, because of the type of album No Code was where they weren't really doing any press, it seems like Eddie really went to town on the setlists and band really free wheeled it and some of the best shows I have ever listened to, I can only imagine having been lucky enough to be at so many great shows, of course when the band plays 128 times in 3 years it makes it much easier compared to now

This was the only show I was able to catch in 03' because of an insane travel schedule with work...but it was incredible. I drove from Milwaukee for this show amd remember thinking "Cleveland, Oh...at the Gund...this isn't going to be like an Alpine show or a home town UC show in Chicago" but I was way off. Great set, crazy energey, Ed drank WAY too much wine and actually fell off the stage during RITFW. I remeber seeing the other guys keep jammin' and looking at each other like "uh..should we keep going..is he ok?.." but he popped back up, refused help from security and kept on going.

    Awesome show!

I miss the comments sections that used to be available for the individual shows. I was at this show and loved it. There was a discussion about this that brought back some fun memories for me. I liked being able to go back to the individual shows to see other's perspectives.

2003 for me is a tricky tour, I have to be in a correct mood for it. I tend to enjoy the usually well mixed set lists, but at times the guys were pretty sloppy and Ed's voice sounded different that tour. Sometimes it worked sometimes it didn't. Still a worthy tour for one to listen to, especially to hear great versions of Riot Act songs.

2005 on the other hand is one of my personal favorite tours. So much energy with the band always seeming to have a ball. Love Eds voice that tour and the Canadian sets were awesome. London, Thunderbay, Hamilton, Halifax, Montreal, and Calgary are so good.
    2008: Bonnaroo
    2010: Bristow
    2012: Atlanta
    2013: Charlottesville, Charlotte
    2014: Cincinnati
2016: Greenville, Hampton, Raleigh (cancelled), Columbia, Lexington

well since you brought up the 2005 Canadian Tour, I am sure at least one person wants to watch the 2005 Touring Van from that Tour

2003 was weird for me, the addition of the organ wasn't something I got used to quickly at all.
