    almost chipped that sucker in.

    Big shot here for Scott.
And so you see, I have come to doubt
All that I once held as true
    I stand alone without beliefs
The only truth I know is you.

A wins a win. he didnt win. If you can tell me with a straight face tiger cares about anything other than winning a major, you are insane my friend.

For the majority of people tiger isnt back. And wont be back until he wins a major.

Id say it would be prudent upon folks to not anoint him anything until he wins a major. Happens every single major and he's lost them all for years.

The golfing world is full of rising stars and talent. Not a single one is named Tiger. As Tiger said, its a new generation. The golfing world has changed.

Instead of betting tiger every single major, id move onto someone more likely to win

The fact is tiger is more likely to lose a major than win it. Times have changed y'all

I think it's probably a map with notes and distances.

Cabrera can really hit his irons long!

I dont disagree with a lot of this and of course he is more likely to lose than win. YOU ARE PLAYING AGAINST 100 OTHER PEOPLE YOU HAVE NO CONTROL OVER. That is the name of the game.

He is the number 1 player in the world and is playing pretty damn good golf
  • another year, another major. another one tiger lost. I'd say golf has moved on. Anyone of those guys who won the majors during these past few years are golfs future. And Tiger knows it. We all know it

Of course, he is 37 years old. He still has some really good golf in him though clearly.

Honest question, how long have you been watching golf?

Edit: And I am pretty sure golf has not moved on. Were you paying attention to the shit show Saturday morning? Would that have happened for any other player in the world? I don't think so.

  • I just dont see him being happy. He's number 1, but he lost a major. Pretty sure he'd take a major win over being number 1 anyday. I think its obvious major's drive him, major wins to be more exact. In terms of his golfing career I'd suggest thats pretty much the ONLY thing he's ever cared about.

If he won 14 tournaments in 2013 total, and lost all 4 majors, I and most everyone else, including Tiger would consider that a failure of a year.

I was a fan of tiger during the Tiger slam. I lost interest later in the decade, and turned on him during the scandal.

Somethings causing him to lose majors. Whether you want to believe its because of age, or mental blocks, or injuries, or whatever, thats your own bag my friend.

But the fact remains something that seemed so easy for him, I know it obviously wasnt easy, but during his "golden era" days, to now, its like night and day. Something caused that. For me, it makes as much sense to say it was aging as much as mental blocks caused by the scandal.

Ive posted on here before talking about things he himself has said. He's given his reasons for why his golf game has suffered. The response ive gotten has been typical posturing and silly childish games that masquarade as normal internet behavior. Why discuss the issues or the argument when you can prove Ive been watching golf for only 2 years as opposed to Joe Schmow who's been watching it for 40 years since he was in diapers.

again show me one thing I said that was incorrect. Anyone who thinks Tiger is fueled by winning dippy PGA events as opposed to majors is out of their minds.

And Jordan and Kobe are fueled by exhibition preseason wins!

The parade of names who have won majors since the scandal are endless.

I'd say at this point people are more excited by Rory and Adam and Bubba than Tiger.

But the shit you post about tiger is all assumptions about his head, nothing more. None of us know anything about him, he made that clear a couple years ago. His game wasn't the same but he is back to being the best player in the world. The guy has played in exactly one major as of a couple hours ago since his game is back to close to where he wants it. If he gets a but straighter off the tree, look out.

Yeah, no. Tiger still moves the needle. Ratings are 4 to 5 times higher when tiger is playing, not rory, not bubba. That is a fact. Edit. 4 to 5 is aggressive but the fact remains, people watch for tiger. Can't debate that

We're over the moon here in Australia. First Aussie to win the prestigious green jacket... We're a proud sporting nation and very happy for Adam Scott...

Loved his 'Come on Aussie' on the 18th when he took the lead.

We know. They mentioned that a couple of dozen times during the telecast. I'm happy for Scott. He's likable and I felt bad for him when he had that meltdown last year at The Open. But I'm just as happy to not have to hear about Norman and no Aussies winning and all that stuff anymore.
