Cinci show. Club changes

How many people of the first 20 rows were actually from Ohio? A friend of mine went and said all the people around him were from other states as far as florida. Some were following them for 3-4 shows. I know this will get me blasted but hey, even God got blasted for speaking his mind. Pearl Jam has been blasted for speaking their mind etc. The fan club NEEDS to limit shows, not tickets. They use an outdated number system for basically season seats. The same people in the same rows year after year. Yes, its great if you are in the front, but its not fair. If you limited to even 2 shows, you might actually have people from THAT state in the first few rows. The shows are going to sell out no matter what. Then you could cap seats if you want to like 3-4 seats. Bring your friends, family. Go ahead blast away, its easy to do. I hope some club member presents this to the club Pres. and just think about it for next time. Everybody fears change in the beginning. God bless you......don't ignore the rusted signs people....

I believe a home town rule should be added. I think that would take care of stuff. I know "home town" is vague, but along those lines.Happiness is only real when shared0

I can agree. I went to the Pittsburgh show, and a lot of the people there were from Ohio, NY, or Wash. DC.
I think there should be a hometown rule put in place, so that the hometowners get priority over the people that have the means (money) to travel all over the damn place and take up the good seats from the people that only get to see them once, if their lucky, in their respective hometown.0 -
here we go again...0

so someone who lives somewhere where PJ rarely plays gets shafted everytime they travel to see a show?"I'll do whatever the song dictates - if it doesn't need a real lead, then I won't do one. But if it does, then I'll fuckin' go off." - Mike
"Japan is awesome; the fans there knew all the words to all the songs...at least phonetically." - Stone
"I know this song so well, I can smoke a cigarette, have a drink, brush my teeth, take a shit, and mow the lawn while singing it. But I'll only be doing a couple of those things during this version." - EV0 -
I totally agree that 10C should punish their best customers. My Pearl Jam Photos

I think there was a time when the fan club limited each person to 1 show per tour for fan club tickets. So, I only attended 1 show per tour. I didn't think I had a chance through ticketmaster. Now, that there's not a limit I go to more than 1 per tour. If there was a 2 ticket limit I would go to 2. Good seats definitely are perks for long term membership. There is no such thing as leftover pizza. There is now pizza and later pizza. - anonymous

A lot of people would agree with you.. Cap the front-row tickets to the home-town show, then give them more modest seats for when they invade other peoples towns.. Most of these fans are the ones who bitch about set-lists..and how they didn't play "Dirty Frank" or some other bad PJ song..You know, so they can brag about hearing it... I hate these people. But then there are those who go to 10 shows a tour who are cool...So, there lies the argument.0 -
please drop this argument the system works just fine deal with it.jesus greets me looks just like me ....0

I'll never be anywhere near the band so I could care less, but IMO they should do this:
they seem to be playing venues back to back a lot. Make one show by seniority and the other be first come first serve. Everyone wins & we get more shows like Grand RapidsJones Beach II (2000), Holmdel (2003), Camden I, East Rutherford II, Gorge I, Gorge II (2006), MSG I, Boston II (2008), Spectrum II, Spectrum III, Spectrum IV (2009), MSG I, MSG II (2010), Prague (2012), Philly I (2013), Philly I, Philly II, Fenway I (2016), Fenway I (2018), MSG (2022), MSG I, Fenway 1 (2024)0 -

No it does not, the argument rages.. There is some dick on the Pitts thread who was the only person complaining about the show because it was full of songs he had heard in 9 other cities...He was "Not into the show" because he is a spoiled fuck...0 -
I have to say one of the best parts of this fan club seating is seeing the same people. I hope to see them again, and maybe strike up a conversation next time if I haven't already. There really is a feeling of comraderie between the fans that may only see the same other fans at concerts basically because they live in different towns. There is no such thing as leftover pizza. Ok you want an Idea. How about the 1st three rows for Hometown fans but still done by seniority of 10 club #. My other Idea is to put anyone who bought 10 club tickets into a lottery for the first 3 rows then seniority after that. You have to look at it this way the people who are in the first few rows have been paying dues to the 10 club for how long? Those people who decide to travel to shows should not be punished. You were in the building were you not? You did get to see Pearl Jam did you not? I have been as close as row 2 and as far back as my back against the wall the last row in the arena. I think people need to relax and just enjoy the show! Shows are supposed to be fun don't add stress for others who run the club by whining about it.Yellow Ledbetter is my least favorite song. Because as soon as you hear the first note you know it is time to say goodbye.0

I wouldn't say best customers but you have to say they are a dedicated group to make all those shows. I know not everybody is in that situation. You can only do so much, but dont punish those who try to hit all the shows that they can.Yellow Ledbetter is my least favorite song. that's true. but i don't think you need to 'punish' anybody, just allow others also to enjoy the experience up front.
me, personally i'm happy just being at the shows and don't think too much about being up front because i know it will never happen

I have no complaints about the way that the 10C handles the tickets. That being said, I could have bought seats from TM that were almost as good.
Heck - I even pulled some up on TM 4 days before the show that were only 2 sections to my left and 5 rows higher.
I was in 112, Row J and my number is 256xxxThe only people we should try to get even with...
...are those who've helped us.
Right 'round the corner could be bigger than ourselves.0 -
This place is so predictable sometimes... 2nd leg starts up and ALL the crybabies come out of the woodwork complaining about their seats. No matter what, people are gonna whine.
They used to limit shows for each tour. And people pissed and moaned. Guess what? They lifted the restriction so now the people who said, "My $15 a year should allow me to go to as many shows as I want to... only one show is bullshit... it needs to be about what works for ME... blah blah blah..." were now giddy with joy about becoming a Deadhead and following them around. Fantastic... I've got no problem with that.
NOW everyone gets mad because, holy shit, people actually go to more than one show and, hold on 'cause you'll NEVER believe this one, these people have BETTER 10C NUMBERS than the complainers. So these dirty hippie PJ followersare taking seats that the whiners have a God-given right to. THOSE ARE MY SEATS!!!!
Bottom line is this: there isn't a single person here complaining that didn't know the drill coming in. Allocation is based on seniority. There's always going to be someone at a show with a better number (and better tickets) than you have. Enjoy the show and quit fucking crying about something you have no control over. Or you can save your $20 next year and roll the dice through Ticketmaster from now on. Make the choice.0
