    :lol: As much as I love those venues it would be a bitch getting tickets I'm sure seeing as how they don't really hold that many. I was thinking of getting tickets for the Wrigley show but not sure if I'll do it or not.

    I'm hoping the fall tour dates include a show or two for Minnesota though as I'd love to attend. Only ever been to an Eddie solo show thus far :(.

    So, a lot of times, I skip reading the news on PJ.com. But the most recent headline about "Team Gleason" caught my eye, because I remember Steve Gleason from the NFL.

    In 2006, Steve Gleason blocked a punt for the Saints that resulted in a touchdown...the first touchdown for the Saints in New Orleans since Katrina. Steve Gleason was immortalized in a statue outside the Superdome for that play alone.

    Then, in 2011, he was diagnosed with ALS (Lou Gehrig's disease).

    I always knew that ALS was a bad disease, but without any personal experience of it, it kind of got lumped in with all those amorphous, unspecific maladies that no one wants to get. In other words, I had no idea what it really did to you. Now, seeing this big football player 6 years ago be reduced to a wheelchair in about a year and a half is, well, startling to say the least.

    I made a donation, little as it was, and I hope some of you can too.
