That song kick site also has them playing Lolla 2013 with the Black Keys.
And that is the show I've waited for.. but won't get to go.
I think the ballparks are a fun idea. I'm bummed out. I've missed every show since 2003. If they plan to come within 3 hours of me... I think I'll make it. If I go to Chicago, I'll Have to see my sheitty cousin. It's not worth it,

I'd like to see a 'Residency Tour', something like doing 15 shows in LA and NY each. Fan club tickets for only one show, that way we might all get a chance to get up close. Spread the dates out over a month on each coast. somehow book venues out 9 months in advance to give all a shot at making the trip. and while i'm at it, it would also be cool to have a different openning act each night..... or how about a Pearl Jam tribute show such as when VH1 did the Rock Honors show for The Who...
I wish 10C would give us a little teaser in the form of the first letter of the show cities.
Like, D could be dallas, detroit, etc. H could mean Houston, Honolulu, etc.
My guess is that they haven't even decided on where to play. They likely have holds on a number of venues for the fall and will make decisions on which cities to play in the coming month or two.
This.
They want to tour, but still a lot of stuff to get in place before they can announce.
That's my guess.

It will probably be a tour supporting a new album, so it might be a little longer than their normal 10-12 dates, similar to the Avacodo and Backspacer tours. Maybe 15-20 dates? They toured for almost three months in North America with Avocado.

If we are getting 15-20 shows in the fall - I would suspect that the Midwest will get at least 5 dates outside of Wrigley. With the usual stops, I'm predicting two shows in LA, Seattle (would be nice for a Gorge show, but unlikely now with the Wrigley announcement), two shows in NYC, Boston, Philly, Pittsburgh, Hartford, two shows or so in Texas, a string of 5 or so shows in Florida/South which could very well include Louisville, and leaving the remaining dates to Indy, Cincy, Minneapolis, St. Louis, Kansas City, and Des Moines, IA.
Yes, I said it with those last three cities. Not ever going to happen and they just played in KC and STL in 2010, but I can dream of them making their way through Mizzou in KC into Des Moines and then throughout the other Midwest cities. In all honesty, Wells Fargo Arena in Des Moines would be a good venue for them and Des Moines is pretty well centrally located from other larger Midwest ciities for travel. But I'm crazy, never gonna happen....but who the hell knows......

The Gorge stays nice (and is open for the season) until the end of September.
If the Sonics are truly coming back, then the Key will be in use in November.
M's will be using Safeco in October. (not that they'd let a concert happen there to 'destroy the beautiful field')
Hawks will be using The Clink in September (a few concerts have been held there, U2, Kenny Chesney)
We can still hold out for a Gorge show.
The joy of life comes from our encounters with new experiences, and hence there is no greater joy than to have an endlessly changing horizon, for each day to have a new and different sun.

i always find it so unreal that PJ has had such trouble finding a place to play in Seattle or the northwest. They are one of the biggest bands to come out of the area. Evidently thats why they've played seattle so few times in their history, or at least in the last 10-15 years, because they just cant find a place they can play at. But even the northwest in general, its mindboggling to me they dont play it more often. portland is a major city, major market. And they usually dont even play in portland proper. They play Clark County.
Ed played the Schnitzer, why not PJ? What about Memorial, or the Rose garden?
A perfect place for them to play, and a cool venue, would be Edgefield/mcmenimens.
I'd love to go to the Gorge, never been, but the attraction and the downside are the same-its out of the way, and not Seattle proper.
So they not only cant seem to find a place to play in Seattle/Wash, but also cant seem to find a place in Oregon.
What about Matt Knight Arena, or Autzen Stadium, or Gill Colesium?
rumored dates are out for fenway, but yes, I'd much rather comcast or fleet center
But why? Fenway probably won't be in use in October

actually the Gorge has a hard time getting people to play there since White River opened.
It's an alternative to the Gorge, not as beautiful IMHO, but the parking is a breeze, nothing like Alpine parking! $14 for beers, and $12 burgers. Even fry bread is like $9.
The casino is right down the road (the place where Loverboy and Rick Springfield like to play ), but their hotel is huge.
both amphitheaters hold 30-40K people. White River is just 40 minutes from Seattle.
I suppose PJ could play there...seating is pretty much identical to Alpine. The place is nice, just the area it's in is kinda, uhhh...'industrial'.
