cool to see this thread is still rockin and full o bullshit...

hey susan, my mate has decided the other day.. that his lifelong dream is to own a CD store... (which made me decide my lifelong dream is to work for him)

he currently works at virgin music at stockland, but is angry at the way these huge chain stores are run, and thinks they could be more sucessful blah blah blah

also he thinks he will be able to be drunk and stoned on the job if hes got his own store.. :D

so anyway... i remember you and leigh saying how much there was to do to get it up and running.. but what did leigh need to do to get started?

    bee cool everyone..

and dont ever let your boots get dusty, no matter how many you own.. :D

    wade.

  • HI Guys :)

    Hope everyone is well!

So the memorial for Kristin on Thurday was very very sad ... but it was exactly what she would have wanted. I really glad they changed venues because they wouldnt have gotten the privacy they did at the other place, and it was just her all over :) There were a whole lot of tears shed... and a whole lot of laughs aswell :) I did have to work that night... and I think everyone there knew I was a little unsteady... poor buggers, I gave em hell and I really didnt mean it.

Anyhow, I went out to the Hard Rock on Friday night with some old Hard Rockers and about 20 of Kristin's family. I finally got to speak to her Mum Kobe, who may I say is just a tower of strength and such a beautiful person. She told me that she had heard about me many times over the years, which nearly had me bawling again, but I couldnt in front of her, she was just so strong. I told her all about us designing a Pin in memorial of Kristin and she was so excited! exactly what Kristin would have wanted!! Its going to be a charity pin, with all proceeds going to GreenPeace, a Charity Kristin donated to out of her pay every week. Perfect.

    So it had the postcards??.....

I think so... I didn't get the 10C sale, i bought it when they released it as the general public presale, so i'm pretty sure it still includes the postcards. Will have to wait at least three weeks i'm guessing.

The general public sale had better not include the postcards!! damnit

Why did 10C not stagger the public sale by at least a month so Int. customers could get it before them? it'd keep so many people happy :( boohoo woe is me... heh i jumped at buying it because i thought they'd sell out, later to realise they were going to sell it to the scumbags.. er i mean general public :(

<edit> haha sorry to anyone who read my posting when it said cumbags instead of scumbags .. which was quite funny indeed! oops i missed the S

Hopefully it does :) then the joke will be on you... It won't bother me to much if they arn't their though, because i will look at them a few times and then maybe forget about them. Although if i do get them and they are nice, i was thinking of doing something with them and my fan club single... maybe... If i can get my creative juices rolling.
