Fantastic! Lets have The Frames to open for PJ and then Glen can sneak in a song or two with Ed during PJ's set.

No thank you. I prefer my PJ Glen free. Don't get me wrong - he's free to open. But, I don't want the possibility of a PJ song being replaced by Falling Slowly. Like the song. Love the musical. It has its place. And it's not in the middle of a PJ set. Leave that to the Uke tour.
Sorry. The world doesn't work the way you tell it to.

Happy for those who wanted this, but I agree. Ed needs a Viagra, time to get hard and rock again. More Of the Earth less Uke

Well I disagree with these two negative Nancy's. Ben Harper was a great addition to Indifference, and Glen Hansard will be a great addition to whatever is played. Eddie's got his shit figured out, and in Ed I Trust. Clearly you two weasels don't, or you've lost your faith. Pearl Jam plays wicked slow jams, full of power, emotion and energy. (Black? Release? Garden? ... all from their first album.) "Time to Get hard and rock again?" ... what the hell are you talking about? This isn't porn you know. The PJ you've grown to love has it ALL. And it's ALL Rock 'n Roll, even when he's on the Uke (Can't Keep??). This collaboration will undoubtedly be a mind blowing orgasmic experience... Ok, maybe this IS ... porn :fp:

Since it is a Frames song and they would be opening, wouldn't it be much more likely that Eddie would occasionally join them on stage rather than the other way around?

I'd very much like to see Glen join PJ on a song or two of theirs, he is great doing a duet of Smile with Ed, like done at PJ20

Now THIS I could get behind.

But, I'm somehow negative AND a weasel for not agreeing with someone. So, you should be careful.

Eh. If Glen wants to come on stage and sing back up vocals, I'm fine with that. But, that's not what you said. You wanted an Ed-Glen duet in the middle of a PJ show. I'd prefer to see Mike, Stone, Jeff, Matt and even Boom ;) before I see that. I came to see PJ, not Vedsard.

As for your last statement - I think you need to get laid. Perhaps, that's the problem.

Sweet! Which means a new Ed / Glen tour. Which means they HAVE TO play Canada together for the first time, to support the record, ... right? :)

    amazing news....if its accurately reported

surely anything recorded on the road would be a rough mix so there would need to be studio time?

    anyway hopinng for an EP...

these two compliment each other so well
