    Ms. Nelly - Glad to see you have returned. I was sad when I saw you post that you wouldn't be around for a while. I absolutely love your "rambling" posts. And believe me, it truly was me who was the lucky one. He was in such a good mood when they got the call from the Obama campaign. I am sure that was what started it. He hugged everyone in line. I just happened to be at the end of the line, which wound up being the beginning of the line. You know the concert was scheduled for April. And right at the end of March, my older sister died unexpectedly. I would have cried through the whole show. As it was with his back injury, I knew the rescheduled date would be awesome as it was election day. And in the interim, I played PJ/EV almost nonstop. Come back and It's okay really helped me through some difficult days. Who knows, maybe my sister gave him a push ? Then again with his intuition at making set lists, maybe he really has an ability to know what people really need. Geez, who is the rambler now? I hope this doesn't sound stupid.

    Finally, shetellsherself - I have a similar funny. I took my youngest to the guitar center for picks one day. And happened across (think I saw it on the forum somewhere) the Fretboard Journal with our man on the front cover. $12, but I just had to have it. Bought a uke songbook that covered the top of the FJ nicely and brought it home, tucked it away on my side of the bed. I was downstairs one evening hearing the husband upstairs, repeating "(incomprehesible) journal" three or four times, before I figured out what he was talking about. I got a similar look when he got downstairs. Feigning innocence helps a little. ;) :shifty: :think:

    I saw that too! :lol: I don't usually think that black us one if the "jump around like a crazy person" songs (animal, dte, many others) but this version actually made me feel like jumping at one point. Besides eddies obvious emotion, the band really rocked it here. This guy was feeling it!

    Okay this is just silly, but I remember some time ago there was a lot of talk about the 50 Shades of Grey book and Whispering Hand's short story writing skills (which reminds me that I need to send you my email add). On our trip to Albq to see the solo show, my dear friend and I were discussing a book series that I started her on, The Outlander series by Diana Gabaldon. And it is silly, because our man here is not shall we say a towering figure and being vertically challenged myself, I find that rather endearing. But when I read this book series with this tall Scotsman, often in a kilt, I picture our man here. Wouldn't you love to see him in a kilt? The main character is James Alexander Malcolm MacKenzie Fraser. He is described as Strong, with a good humored face, deep blue eyes, long straight nose, square white teeth, cat eyes, hair: glinting auburn and amber, roan and cinnabar, thick wavy mass with a thousand colors of red and gold. He is fiercely protective of his woman, virile, muscular, sensual. There are 6 or 7 books in the series, very well written historic fiction w/ a little time travel thrown in and a lot of wonderfully written sex scenes. I haven't read 50 Shades so can't compare, but the rest of the writing in this book is superb. Just in case you need something to do over the Christmas holiday if you haven't read them. Or even if you are like me and have read them 5 or 6 times. :roll:
