We can debate the jerkoffness of Pete all day, and even as a Hawks fan, I could agree to some of it. Having said that, Flynn needed some experience playing in a real game, as did Turbin. If Zona had a problem with it, they could've stopped it.

I totally agree. There is a difference between running it up and just playing football.

What a no-class douche bag Pete Caroll is. Seahawks are up 51-0 and still throwing the ball. What a jerkoff.
... You don't stop playing defense when you're up, why stop playing offense?

Go hawks. Good for Flynn to get some reps in in another NFL game.

Exactly. These arent kids in pee wee league, they are pros. What was Carroll supposed to do, kneel down?

That being said, he is still a jerkoff

Obviously don't expect him to kneel down. Generally when you are up 50 in the 4th quarter, you aren't throwing deep into the end zone. I just hate Pete Caroll.

If the Pats win against Houston, the Colts actually have a chance to win the AFC South!

Yet I can't cheer for the Pats to win ... :?

I guess I'll leave this up to the football gods to sort out ... :geek:

Go ahead, cheer for the Pats. Their spot in the playoffs is pretty well locked up right? I was actually pulling for the Cowboys yesterday against the Bengals to help the Colts out. Not as bad as the Pats as a Colts fan, but I still got a sick feeling in my stomach. I'm just pumped that I'll actually be able to watch a game once they're in the playoffs. Hopefully means good things for their coverage next season too.

remember when he was just a "good recruiter" and not a good football coach? despite his dickheadery in throwing the ball up by 51 has he actually become a good NFL coach?

As a Seattle fan, I buy into what he's doing.

Can't wait to see them live for the first time in 14 years this Saturday!

Show #13 was a lucky one for me....
  • God damn NFL moving the Hawks/49ers game to Sunday night instead of Sunday afternoon. I'm having 30 people over that night, looks like I'm throwing the game on.

The Seahawks could probably get a king's ransom from AZ in draft picks if they dangled Matt Flynn as trade-bait.

That play where Houston forced the fumble on the screen pass and New England recovered it in the endzone was hilarious. Exciting and great play, but funny. Maybe the worst possible outcome of a forced fumble ever. He's thinking "I should have just tackled his ass".
