seems weird...someone obviously said to Mike "Hey, you mind signing some of these?" & he did, no problem...question is: why wouldn't they have had him sign the 10c version as opposed to the other?...just an observation

Thought about that myself. You'd think a special version released by the fan club to its members would have been more likely to have a batch of them signed. That would have been the extra icing on the cake with this release. Oh well, its a cool item nonetheless.
Question: Has 10c ever released any merch or music such as this specifically to the club members where a decent chunk were signed by the band? I know there was the super deluxe box sets, but there was only like half a dozen or something that were signed if I remember right. Just curious.
It would be cool to hear that a few of these bad boys were signed. I started thinking about what the reasoning would be to have them not be and all I could think of was that the red version was made for record store day and supporting local record stores, while the blue was exclusively tenclub. Maybe Mike was approached by the RSD people and he signed a few to reward fans who supported these businesses. Hopefully the majority of those gems went to tenclub members anyway!

SWEET!!
Hopefully it makes it's way up here today!
I'm beginning to seriously doubt that any of the BLUE's are going to be signed by Mikey. I think you're probably accurate with the reasoning there too...unfortunately, 10C has never been known to do much of anything like this (with band member sigs, with exception of a few rare instances) :?
I wouldn't say most bought it to flip. Especially since they didn't disappear right away. I bought mine waiting outside the local record store in case I missed out there.
Got 809 in TX today btw. So pretty.

We are all adults here, right? Kinda funny to be concerned about the color of a vinyl record and assessing value based on it.
I agree, but I bet a large percent of people bought this in hope of flipping or trading it later. So they want the value to be high..
Really sad :( ...just spin it and enjoy the music
Its just a simple discussion. People can still spin it and still wonder about its uniqueness or collectibility, just like with all Pearl Jam memorabilia. Colored vinyl, poster variants, etc. There is always going to be talk of value along with personal enjoyment and that is something the band and artists have created by making so many kinds of the same thing. Sure some people buy stuff to flip it, but I think most forum members don't. Just my opinion.
That being said, both the red and blue albums are great, but I have to say I am partial to the blue!

There's WAY less of them than any other version (besides PURPLE)
1900 or so unsigned RED
100 or so signed RED
? Signed/numbered by MM RED
1000 unsigned/numbered BLUE
? Unsigned/Unnumbered PURPLE
PURPLE probably most sought after overall... with the RED RSD version both signed and numbered by MM next
Yeah, hoping mine comes today
Looking forward to laying down the needle and throwing some headphones on.
