We are all adults here, right? Kinda funny to be concerned about the color of a vinyl record and assessing value based on it.

I agree, but I bet a large percent of people bought this in hope of flipping or trading it later. So they want the value to be high..

Really sad :( ...just spin it and enjoy the music :D

I wouldn't say most bought it to flip. Especially since they didn't disappear right away. I bought mine waiting outside the local record store in case I missed out there.

Got 809 in TX today btw. So pretty.

Its just a simple discussion. People can still spin it and still wonder about its uniqueness or collectibility, just like with all Pearl Jam memorabilia. Colored vinyl, poster variants, etc. There is always going to be talk of value along with personal enjoyment and that is something the band and artists have created by making so many kinds of the same thing. Sure some people buy stuff to flip it, but I think most forum members don't. Just my opinion.

That being said, both the red and blue albums are great, but I have to say I am partial to the blue!

Yep! Just a few of the members hope to have a signed one to flip it just after they get it.

The greater part of us are just happy to have something really collectible.

And I hope that, one day, I'll be lucky enough to get a vinyl signed by the guys (Only signed. I'm aware that I'll never get one signed this way: "To Hubert, from Eddie, Mike, Matt, Jeff, Stone and Boom" )
