Wouldn't it be funny if the world ended in 2010, with lots of fire?

We are all adults here, right? Kinda funny to be concerned about the color of a vinyl record and assessing value based on it.
I agree, but I bet a large percent of people bought this in hope of flipping or trading it later. So they want the value to be high..

Really sad :( ...just spin it and enjoy the music :D

Its just a simple discussion. People can still spin it and still wonder about its uniqueness or collectibility, just like with all Pearl Jam memorabilia. Colored vinyl, poster variants, etc. There is always going to be talk of value along with personal enjoyment and that is something the band and artists have created by making so many kinds of the same thing. Sure some people buy stuff to flip it, but I think most forum members don't. Just my opinion.

That being said, both the red and blue albums are great, but I have to say I am partial to the blue!

Yep! Just a few of the members hope to have a signed one to flip it just after they get it.

The greater part of us are just happy to have something really collectible.

And I hope that, one day, I'll be lucky enough to get a vinyl signed by the guys (Only signed. I'm aware that I'll never get one signed this way: "To Hubert, from Eddie, Mike, Matt, Jeff, Stone and Boom" )

Got my blue, unsigned in the mail the other day.

Got the red back on RSD, and I haven't been home much in the past few weeks. Look at it today, and notice it's signed by Mike. How cool is that? :D

Probably not... All we'd really know is they are a 10 Club member... unless of course they posted the number of the vinyl here and on Ebay.

Why? Are they doing something illegal or wrong with the property they own?

No, but what's that got to do with it? It's nice to know who flippers are when you're in a trading/selling community with them.

But you won't know who the flippers are. You don't have a list of what number the 10 club sold to whom, so you won't be able to determine who you don't want in your trading/selling community. Did they (10 Club) list this product as Not For Resale, if that even matters? I honestly don't recall.

I didn't say that. I just posted I saw some up there.

No, I don't know. I'm just saying it would be nice to know.
I have no idea if it was marked not for resale. I just don't like flippers so would prefer not to do business with them if I could help it. Just like scalpers. They're not doing anything illegal. I just don't want to give them my business if I can avoid it.

They'll personalize it if they have time and you ask. I imagine that they like to, because then they know for sure that you're a true fan and not a flipper. :)
I didn't get Jeff to personalize, but I did get Richard Stuverud to write on my RNDM vinyl "To Alli - Thank You!!" (with circles for the "i" and the "!" ), and then Jeff signed it too.... so that kind of counts, right? :?
