I'm listening to ten right now(release) my mind is wandering...
With all of this solo stuff going on,lack of touring,pj20 behind us,new website design focused on the past... anyone else wonder if its over ? I feel like an announcement can be made at anytime now.

They've worked on new songs.
They've got a couple dates planned in South America and I'd say its a safe bet they'll tour next year.
I think some people are getting their signals crossed with the band's time off, side projects, families (!!) and cut back on urgency. They don't need a new album every other year. They can tour when they wanna.
I can't stand being away from my own family for more than a few days - and when these cats tour, they travel for weeks on end with little to no time to see their loved ones. That's upsetting.
They're not going anywhere...
It's marathon pace from here on out, tiger.

"...I changed by not changing at all..."
after all they've done and all they've gone through, you need more than what you have stated to account for saying it's over...
even this guy stated many things to account that this band ain't over, and I think he is falling short...
They can come back to PJ with fresh energy towards the new album with this time off doing other projects.
announcement arrive already and they refound me my membership!!!
but shipping cost are more expensive now cos Santos moved to China!!!
cant wait for Mike's aka in God i Trust solo album!!

"no dice" in spanish means "he/she isn't saying/telling", or "it is not stated"...
in English it means "not happening"

I thought it was related to "the roll of the dice"...
however, you shouldn't change your ways, how we English as a Foreign Language students will learn to really talk? I learnt the grammar from Quirk and the phonetics from Gimson, my former workmates told me that sometimes I sound like a Harry Potter movie, since in Argentina are taught the RP variant of the language (the one spoken on BBC), but talking to people who speak the live language, we don't get that chance that often...
and if this is not derailing a thread, tell me what it is...
Yes they are slowing down in terms of size of tours and length of time between album releases but they've been at this 20 years, have no major label pressure now, all have families and they are all hitting 50. Clearly the guys still love being Pearl Jam but it doesn't have to be 24/7. They've earned the right do things on their terms.
Obviously each band is different, look at Bruce going on crazy world tours but again that is up to him. Each band is different.
Spare a thought for Rolling Stones fans who had to wait 5 years between them doing gigs. Imagine if Pearl Jam did that, their would be riots

They are not 25 anymore and they have families to tend to. They have earned the right to do whatever pleases them, and that means taking things at a slower pace. It's very very apparent, especially after going to some of the Ed solo shows that he's very focused on family. He gets genuinely excited by kids (not just his own) and at one of the Texas shows I went to he even mentioned how it's totally different writing songs post-kids vs. pre-kids, the mind is in a totally different place....and finding the time to do it as well!
Along with that he also mentioned how he is so blessed to be in a band with his best friends...they aren't going anywhere, they are just accepting where they are at...grown up.
I will admit the business side of me can't help let sad thoughts creep in with the way I see the focus turning to the past and nostalgia though. Even Facebook updates from the band, E.V, J.A.A., etc are all things about "on this day 4 years ago the band played xyz" and "it's the 5 year anniversary of ____ album". Now I understand you have to fill down time with something, and we all love looking back BUT, as with everything, the minute you start looking back you stop moving forward, that does concern me a bit.
that's my $0.02 anyway..
Josh.

Some good points and I agree. On the Facebook thing I don't think the band would have much to do with that, I'd imagine the updates are from 10c itself and the EV and JAA are fan pages I believe.
I know alot of people on here ask about when there will be a No Code/Yield reissue but Jeff recently said the band itself are pretty much done at the minute on looking back and don't want to become a nostalgic act

band's generally don't talk about new albums in interviews and then break up.

AND they didn't play Minnesota in 2012. Total grounds for divorce.

I worry much more about health issues for them then I do them deciding to disband.
Their well being and happiness is of most importance.
Very true. People need to get realistic. What if Ed's arm injury earlier in the year had been more serious and resulted in him unable to continue in the band? Lets not take the guys for granted and just enjoy them. I always treat a PJ gig as possibly the last time I see them and enjoy it.
