if people keep buying and are willing to pay the current rates then maybe it doesn't have to be addressed...when everyone stops buying stuff, they realize the business model has to change?

This, unfortunately, is the thing. I'm not buying anything from 10C until this is fixed.

I think the shipping rates are great !!!!! As long as I can remember the shipping rates to Canada were absolutely ridiculous. For years i've been paying through the nose for shipping and now it seems we are getting much more reasonable shipping prices.
    Thank you 10club!

To the OP : it's simple really, if you don't want to pay the shipping rate than don't buy the item.
It's a decision many of us international fans have struggled with for a long time.

This is not 10c related, but I was going to buy the poster from San Antonio (I think), the one with Eddie climbing the capital building. I am used to the $10-15 shipping fees for the poster and tube, etc... I went to buy it until I learned that shipping was $30. WHAT??? Apprarently it was coming from Indonsia or something? But really $30, NOPE!! I passed!

Based on weight, and shipping via USPS, that's an awful lofty price and completely inaccurate according to USPS mailing rates. Knowing that 10c ships via USPS, I'd want some further info on this. Email 10c and see what they say.

Didnt someone on here in another thread say they asked 10C a question and they got a rude response? Someone on Facebook also indicated they got a rude response from them when asking about shipping.

  • Why can't 10c give some options how you want it to be shipped? Ex. priority with tracking, standard, 2 day, whatever and list the prices for each instead of just $12 or whatever, and you have no idea what type of shipping method it is. That's how any normal website business does things. Funny how no one from 10c can come on here and actually explain things.

Don't email them, you probably won't get a response. Just pick up the phone = immediate response.

    ...
    Answer:
    1. Find 9 friends that want the patch.
    2. Order 10 patches shipped to your address.
    3. Each patch now costs $4.68 + price of one stamp
    4. Send out 9 patches in letter sized envelopes with a U.S. Postal Stamp on it.
    5. Problem... Solved.
    6. You're welcome.

    click on "Calculate a price"
Ames Bros wanted 41$ to ship three t shirts... Got rid of one and it came down to 11$... :?:

that may possibly be due to the 'total price' of the goods. Here is an EXAMPLE of one company's shipping rates:

    Order total Shipping & Handling
    $0-$25..........$5.99
    $25.01-$40.....$6.99
    $40.01-$50.....$8.99
    $50.01-$75.....$10.99
    $75.01-$100....$13.99
    $100.01-$125...$15.99
    $125.01-$150...$17.99

of course each company has contracts with shipping companies, and their contract dictates the prices. (I did shipping at a job, we had a contract with Airborne Express)

Not saying that the 10c prices are fair, but I would have definitely fought for better pricing.

I noticed that it seems that they are not 'bundling' some items. I bought 2 Halloween shirts, with some stickers, the stickers came first, and then a few weeks later the shirts came, and they came in separate packages on the same day. Another time, I bought the RNDM single, and more stickers. The vinyl came in a separate package from the stickers, on the same day. That is more expensive than shipping all items together, but I know some people have complained they want some things shipped separately.

    *shrug*

  • How to ship a patch:

    Grab patch
    Grab envelope
    Insert patch in envelope
    Seal envelope
    Write address
    Apply Stamp
    Send

This method should work for stickers too.

The total cost comes to 46 cents.
