I'm seeing them tonight. If their live show is half as good as everyone keeps hyping, it'll be amazing. Doesn't hurt that the Joy Formidable is opening.0

If you get a chance can you post when they took to stage? Trying to gauge when they might come on tomorrow night. Also, do you know if Joy Formidable is opening for them the whole tour? Did see any opener listed for Boston.PJ:

I'm excited to hear your review of the show. I wanted to see them in AZ a few weeks back, but my concert-going buddy said last time he saw them it was the most boring show he'd ever seen and refuses to see them again.6/27/98 - East Troy, WI

I very well might have one. Shoot me a PM. Here is the catch.
1. I have offered the seat to my Facebook friends, but no response in the last couple hours so either I do not have many friends or they have no taste in music.

Does Neil even know who Gaslight is?0 -

PM if interested.0 -
I went to Sunday night's show in Toronto and had a darn good time. Unfortunately over the past few weeks I haven't had the time to listen to too much Gaslight in preparation, so I couldn't remember a lot of song titles or lyrics. Despite that, I still enjoyed every second of the show.
From start to finish I could tell these boys were enjoying every second of their time upon the stage. You don't see too many 5-piece bands in today's music, so that was refreshing to see; each band member played their role perfectly. I would have loved to have seen more guitar switches, just to change up the sound a bit, but that's probably just because I've seen so many sexy axes in the past couple months.
Through 23 songs, the Gaslight Anthem never skipped a beat, playing their hearts out and proving (to me, at least), that they have the talent to go far in this business. My personal highlights include Here's Looking at You, Kid and 45, but that's not to detract from the rest of the set. Everything was great, and the banter with the audience showed the band's appreciation for their fans. I will definitely see these guys again in the future.0 -

I know it's GA... generic use of the word "seats". My bad!

Saw my first TGA show last night and was blown away. I was familiar with their records but thought they translate so much better live. Brian Fallon writes some really great and catchy songs.
I happened to quickly meet Brian before the show by chance and asked if the'd play State of Love and Trust which they did and it sounded incredible. Crowd went nuts for it.PJ - 36

First Gaslight show last night in Boston and it was amazing! Well worth the lack of sleep and trip down from Portland. I have to say that a lot of their songs sound better live, which says a lot because their studio records are great. GA Floor tickets, mosh pits, crowd surfing.....it was an all around great time. Played almost all of Handwritten, half of 59 Sound, and a few tracks off American Slang and Skin or Swim. Highlights were definitely seeing Handwritten, Miles Davis, Here's Looking at You Kid, Keepsake, and Blue Dahlia (but pretty much every song was kick ass. Great cover of SOLAT which the crowd loved (thanks for the hookup Champagne Breakfast) and the premiere of Halloween, which will be the 45RPM club single.
I have to say that the band just seems to be having a blast up on stage and definitely appreciates the growing success they are having...you can tell. Brian bantered a lot with the crowd and talked a lot of shit about the Jets and Tom Brady, even asking if they could borrow him for a season. Then said Gisele needs to shut it about football. Pretty hilarious! He also talked about the 45RPM club and how he is footing the bill for the 7" Holiday single coming out. Not gloating about it, just talking about how people think he is crazy, but he was all about helping the fans out.
Setlist: Mae, The '59 Sound, The Diamond Church Street Choir, Handwritten, Here Comes My Man, Miles Davis and the Cool, Desire, 45, Biloxi Parish, Angry Johnny and the Radio, Too Much Blood, Halloween (Premiere: First time ever), Film Noir, Howl, State of Love and Trust, The Queen of Lower Chelsea, The Patient Ferris Wheel, Here's Looking at You, Kid, Mulholland Drive, Great Expectations
Encore: She Loves You, American Slang, 1930, Keepsake, Blue Dahlia, The Backseat
Poster was really cool too, and cheap! $20PJ:
