Any of you guys at soundwave yesterday? Incubus were fantastic as always. ahhhhhh.

Was that the one at Sydney Park? I jog around there and went out about 2pm and thought 'wahweres that fuggin noise coming from' . My usual scenic root was full of youngster in black jeans.

I heard some familiar songs late arvo/early eve as was at a bbq about 400metres away but just thought they were cover bands. Damn I would walked down for a better listen had I have known

"We are Champions, say we are Champions"

    :D

We've got a ticker-tape parade here on Thursday for our local legends. The Knights are dead, long live the Jets :)

Speaking of young crowds went to the new Sands Hotel in Narrabeen yesterday for a quick drink. Nothing like the old pub and the price of a beer was a joke too.

Nothing's going to top the celebrations that went on after the Knights won the 97 Grand Final (250,000 people lining the roads and congregating in Civic Park) but it should be a pretty special day all the same

Rod Stewart performed at Tempus II Winery in the Hunter Valley yesterday. Between every couple of songs he would stop and give Grand Final score updates to the crowd, and after the Jets won he grabbed a Newcastle Jets soccer ball, signed it, and kicked it into the crowd :D

    Gotta love Rod :)
