When I closed my eyes and re-listened to the first Sirius broadcast of it, and heard him scream the all I'll ever "beeeeeeeee" note, and the way he spit out the end sounds of "together, together, together", I felt its power and magic. Even if you weren't there, if you're a fan, close your eyes, imagine being there, and truly listen to him pour his soul into it. I trust that if you're a true fan, and it's one of your fave tunes too, you'll dig it, if not love it. It ain'ts about ranking it among other versions, it's about standing alone as an incredible individual version and performance.
