When I was little, Mum and Dad would pile the 7 of us into their van and drive us to Brisbane twice a year. We'd eat Clinkers and guess the colour. I loved it! Mum still buys Clinkers when she travels by car! I think I need to buy some next week when we travel north!
I can't believe the amount of chocolate you guys eat!!!! Do you ever not have some chocolate of ANY sort at home?

Going for a day to trip to check out Dunk Island and popping into Paronella Park on the way back. We were going to go for a few days but we don't have anyone to look after our dogs.

Hey we went to Dunk Island and Paronella Park when were up in Townsville in the 90s. Have they fixed up Paronella Park yet? I know what you mean about the dogs. Want to stay in our new house up north for a week and have to decide what to do with them now.. whether to put them in a boarding kennel for a week or take them with us. Also we need someone to look up our two budgies and feed the fish.

Exactly. My dogs are like my kids now. Nicky sits in front of me on the desk while I'm on the computer sometimes.

They've already been moved onto new owners recently and sound like they've settled very happily with you and your man. It would be so confusing to leave them with someone else :( and they'd miss you heaps.

I'd miss them heaps too. The only problem is settling them down while they're in the car with us on an 8 hour drive up north. :eek:
We've been on short drives with them and the noise drives us crazy. Any suggestions??

Might be an idea to take them in the car with you whenever you can.....even if you're just going to the shop etc; (of course, don't leave them in the car for long periods).....just so they can hopefully start getting used to it??

Nicky is very attached to us both.. he's a real people dog, whereas Star will just sleep outside on the deck all day and only really wants us for his food.
