Can't miss Live soccer :( I have to know what's going on when it happens, not 6 hours later

My day wasn't too bad. Went to sleep at 7am, woke up at 2pm, and then went to see "Into The Wild" at 6pm :)

Im still drunk. 14 pub pubcrawl yesterday started at 12 - schooner at each then carried on till 11pm. Threw one in one of the bargirls - drinking at the local will NEVER be the same. Think everyone knows about it.

And guess what I woke up to this morning Eileen???

    cicadas.....
Yes this is the yr that they are massive...........
everything has their shells on it......
It weird how here Im not sure about the mainland but here anyway every 8 or 9 yrs there is a massive amount of cicadas hatching............the seagulls are going nuts getting them out of the gums trees......

So stop packing for Tassie Eileen.............:p

Haha. I remember this time last year whingeing about the heat and all the cicadas. There are no cicadas in my suburb yet, probably because it rains buckets nearly every day.

I hope they show it on Christmas Eve again this year. I've got Foxtel now though... I always have to watch Carols by Candlelight at Myer Music Bowl. Have been doing it since I was a kid.
