  • I saw PJ in 1992 at Lollapalooza in Mansfield, MA. I saw AIC in Nov. 1992 at the Channel in Boston (this club no longer exists)...to this day, I'll say that that AIC show was one of the best shows I have ever been to. Layne was singing and hanging from pipes on the ceiling!!!! And I saw Nirvana in Nov. 1993 in Fitchburg, MA...it was a hockey arena-type venue. I saw Kurt walking backstage and screamed "Kurt!" and he waved :)

Yup, I was and still am...a "grunge" girl :)

saw alice in chains in '92 open for van halen in east rutherford, nj, and again '93 at lollapalooza in stanhope, nj.

I was at these two shows as well! Seeing Tool, Rage and Fishbone on the side stage of Lolla 93 was crazy.

Saw PJ & SG at Lolla 92 at Jones Beach.

Saw SG open for Neil Young at Jones Beach in 93. It poured down rain during Jesus Christ Pose...I was one of a very few on the floor section that stayed at their seat.

Saw Nirvana in Oct 93 (i think it was) at the old NY Coliseum in NYC. Weird show as Kurt was visibly high and wacked out...could hardly sing.

    Now, I feel a little old...
I will not lose my Faith, it's an Inside job today....

I saw Nirvana at the Great Western Forum in L.A. December 30th, 1993. Amazing show. Chokebore and The Butthole Surfers opened, with Bobcat Goldthwait as M.C.
Nirvana was on fire that night. The songs were tight and loud. Kurt seemed in great spirits, and he screwed an electric drill to his guitar and made it spin around before decapitating the In Utero angel mannequin.
Great memories. That was my first show.

Saw PJ for the first time at Montage Mountain (Lollapalooza) in Aug '92, saw AIC for the first time at the JFK Stadium Site in '93 (another Lollapalooza - I will never forget Rage Against the Machine getting pelted with trash as they stood there naked with tape over their mouths while protesting the PMRC). Never saw Nirvana, which I regret.
I smile, but who am I kidding...
  • I saw Nirvana on the rail right in front of Kurt at their very last Seattle show in '94 months later he was dead.

saw all three - PJ twice in 92

Pj at the Cameo - my first show - which well, blew my doors off and that a big reason I'm still here today. Then later that summer on the day before Hcane Andrew blasted us at LLpalooza - with RHCP, Ministry and Soundgarden....wow what a crazy long day.

AIC at what is now Revolution in Lauderdale - Lane was still in a cast and they killed it !They were doing oldies and songs off of Dirt at the time.

Nirvana at Bayfront - great high energy show - I remember being so happy that they did NOT play Smell Like. It was overhyped even then. They knew better and so did we. Pennyroyal Tea was a standout.

    that's all folks.

For your infos, Nirvana did play "Smells like Teen Spirit" at the end of the night at Bayfront November 27th 1993... The recording of the show is avalaible on many bootlegs, you tube also...

I saw PJ at their first gig in Stockholm, at the Kool Kat Club in '92, Nirvana in the summer of '93 and I'm so happy I did back then.
Kool Kat Club 1992, Moderna museet 1992, Globen 2012, Friends arena 2014
  • PJ Gimli (Mudfest) 1993. My friends went to AIC when they opened for VH. I flat our refused to pay $40 to see VH. And all my buds told me all of AIC was super drunk for the show, so they were terrible.

Nirvana never toured anywhere even close to me.

Saw SG in 95. Met Matt backstage.

Saw PJ twice in 92 and at least once in 93

One of the greatest regrets was not seeing AIC....but then it was not really my fault. I blame the heroin

Nirvana...meh....didnt care to see them....kinda like Mudhoney in Missoula....glad I get to "Say" that I saw them, but ultimately, didnt really care
I know I was born and I know that I'll die. The in between is mine.

Saw Nirvana in '94, their last Seattle concert , Mercer Arena (RIP-Kurt)
Saw SG at a minimum of 3 times in the 90s-Bumbershoot, and a few other shows. I want to say the Coliseum (now Key Arena) and Mercer Arena.

Never saw PJ or AIC in the 90s. :x
