    I saw PJ in Portland in '92.

    I saw Nirvana in Portland in '92 and in Salem, OR in '93. The great thing about the Salem show is that Kurt, Dave and Pat Smear used to buy many a guitar from Guitar Castle here in Salem, OR so we hung out in front of the place all day long and around 3pm both Kurt and Pat show up. One of the best days ever!

    I saw AIC in Salem, OR for their Dirt tour.

    Man...Gibby Haynes is a family friend. :cry: His Dad was a children's show on a local Dallas TV station...Mr. Peppermint. He has lots of ties in Dallas.

    Anyway...I saw PJ in Dallas in 10/91 and AIC on the Clash Of The Titans tour in 01/91. Screaming Trees in LA in '89, Soundgarden Lollapalooza '92.

    I never wanted to see Nirvana.

    saw PJ at the old CNE in toronto in 93... amazing bill _ neil young < pearl jam< soundgarden< and blues traveler... paid a whole $18 dollars lol

    I saw Pearl Jam for the first time in November 1991 at Roseland in NYC with Red Hot Chili Peppers and Smashing Pumpkins. Have seen Pearl Jam about 20 times since. Saw Alice in Chains in June 1991 at MSG opening for Slayer/Anthrax/Megadeth, I know its kind of an odd choice to open that show, then saw them again later that summer in another odd line up when they opened for Fishbone and LL Cool J and then finally saw them headline a show in 92. Saw Nirvana twice in NYC in 1993. It definitely was a glorious time for music.

    pearl jam: 4-6-1994 @ springfield civic center; springfield, MA. being 14 and right on the barrier when they came out and started playing rvm...awesome

    nirvana: 10-1993 @ springfield civic center. half japanese and the breeders played too. awesome.

    screaming trees: 6-1992 @ riverside park (now 6 flags); agawam, MA. first band i ever saw in concert. i wish they were still together.

    mudhoney: opened for pearl jam at the 4-6-94 show

    sonic youth: 4-1994 @ amherst college gymnasium with dinosaur jr. opening

    fugazi: 5-1995 (i think?) @ pearl st. nightclub; northampton, MA. first time seeing the most inspirational band to ever have played. yes i would trade never seeing pearl jam again to be able to see these guys one more time.


    those are, i think, all the 'big name' bands i saw when i was 13-14yrs old. such a good time.

    i saw PJ in 1992 at Lollapalooza in Houston. never saw Nirvana or AIC, unfortunately.

    I saw PJ in 1992 at Lollapalooza in Mansfield, MA. I saw AIC in Nov. 1992 at the Channel in Boston (this club no longer exists)...to this day, I'll say that that AIC show was one of the best shows I have ever been to. Layne was singing and hanging from pipes on the ceiling!!!! And I saw Nirvana in Nov. 1993 in Fitchburg, MA...it was a hockey arena-type venue. I saw Kurt walking backstage and screamed "Kurt!" and he waved :)

    Yup, I was and still am...a "grunge" girl :)

    My first gig was Nirvana/Breeders/Teenage Fanclub in Dublin in '92

    First time seeing PJ was at Slane Castle in Ireland, supporting Neil Young in '93 a few months before vs. came out. Even though I didn't know the song at the time, rearviewmirror still blew me away....

    Saw PJ for the first time at Bob Guertin Arena (Ottawa-Hull) in 1993... instant unbelievable addiction

    never had the chance to see Soundgarden, AiC or Nirvana in the day... saw STP though :)

    Saw PJ/Nirvana/RHCP at the Cow Palace New Year's Eve '91.
    Lame that RHCP were the headliners!!! (the other guys didn't get to play much)
    Wish I was living in Portland back then like I do now...

    I actually saw PJ last in 1998. I saw Nirvana in Jan. 1994. Soundgarden in 1994. Alice in Chains a few times, once opening for Van Halen. Nirvana was awesome love em. Alice was great, to bad they fell apart.
    Let's see those 2013 dates in the southern states.
