  • Hey all

3 weeks ago we did the KOL Album launch at the Hard Rock...(or 2 weeks ago?) Got myself a copy but havent listened to it yet... dunno if I should bother.

and after HATING Silverchair's new song Stright Lines... its actually grown on me a little now... just a little. Might give the album a go.

No Under the Bridge ... that's my favourite RHCP song.

I heard the stupid guy on the radio here today saying that RHCP are touring Oz at the moment after they played Snow.....Then he said theres no Under the Bridge being played this tour.
I saw the setlist for Adel Meb 1 and 3 and it was played at those 3...
    Stupid radio ppl...

Nooooo! Silverchair's Straight Lines is boring and repetitive. It reminds me of an old Supertramp song from the 1970s.

The jury is still out on KOL. They look like a bunch of Emo boys!

So was Anti's singing voice ok, or did he just rush through all the songs?

Yeah kinda sounded ok.....it was really just his lack of attention to the 15,000 ppl that had paid top dollar to see them, that annoyed me.....
And it wasnt the show I went to it appears all the shows were the same..

Yeah....Straight Lines isn't too flash. I read an article and Daniel was saying that he's the brains and the albums are his babies and the other two guys basically agreed to help Daniel do whatever HE wants to do. Fuck that. I'd start another band.

But what I really can't stand is his little jig he does in the film clip -- the way he shakes his shoulders back and forth with his arms out REALLY annoys me and I don't know why. But EVERYTIME I see it on tv I sit there and watch it until I see the shoulder jig then I stop watching. Strange -- I must like a bit of self torture!

I was at the gym yesterday and there was a RHCP film clip on - something about 'funk da funk'. I havent listened to them for at least 8 years but if thats the style they've gone then thats just tragic - pure shit!

Mind you Id rather listen to that than the cracker that came on after it:
something about my milkshake tasting better than yours and they're LIKE its better than yours. Close to the worst Ive ever heard and they also had to say LIKE every second farkin word - WHEN WILL IT END
I'll ride the wave where it takes me.

I'm afraid it will NEVER end old man heh

The Red Hot CHili Willies song was Hump de Bump i think... Their last album actually explored their older styles and some new, which was good, definite studio group :) Can't place the soing that takes them back to their roots though.

Yeah that milkshake song is/was crapola wrapped a crap sandwich! (It's pretty f'ing old)

Ha ha ! DonJon, you're sounding more and more like me everyday! "This is SHIT, this is CRAP, WHEN WILL IT END????"

And yes...that song is C-R-A-P!!! It's fucking embarrassing to watch (and I've only seen the beginning on the clip once). I cant believe how fucking shit they are now. Get back on the drugs, boys!
