    Fuckin hurricanes. I thought when we left Texas we'd be away from 'em. We're in upstate but my baby lives in Brooklyn and doesn't seem that concerned. She lives on the 3rd floor. 22, they still have all the answers. I told her she ought to at least have some bottled water on hand. She works in the Bronx at one of her part time jobs, but I guess she won't be getting up there in the next day or two.

    all the best to your daughter-
    3 floors should be 30+ feet up , so in terms of flooding should be fine,
    its just loss of power for a week/+ is a little scary.

    sorry Bloomy I have to stay home and babysit my pearl jam poster collection .
    They are all in an easily portable acid free artist portfolio
    just in case I need to run up the staircase with them in tow,
    to keep their integrity.

    16 yr old was just rescued in jersey by a fishing boat going by....otherwise he was pretty much dead
