    BUMP for South America shows. I won't be able to attend, but invariably, I always buy bootlegs from South American shows (I have both audio and video shhh ;) ), and I am always amazed at the energy and enthusiasm of the South American kids. It's very impressive and uplifting to see and hear.

    So yeah...as my good friend/fellow poster JimmyV once said, "Pearl Jam shows anywhere are a good thing." Amen on that.

    Happy for South America, and hoping that some day I'll get to ride that wave down there with you guys! :)

    I like following these too. The setlist wasn't anything outrageous, but can you imagine having been there in that setup? When was the last time they played such a small arena? I was lucky enough to get to see Amsterdam I and II, but I can't help be a little jealous of Missoula.

    Meeting fellow PJ 10c members in line in ATL before the gates opened - perfect strangers but formed our own group on the trail and looking out for each other. Rocking and partying the whole time, sharing memories, talking PJ, guessing the opener and what songs we want to hear. Great stuff when a band can make people unite with one common purpose.

    Thoughts arrive like butterflies...oh how many memories are being sparked by reading this thread!

    1. My first PJ concert in Austin, 1995 with the Ramones. GA show and being 5'6" 180, was just getting rattled around in the crowd. Finally made way to the front and I remember just not even standing, not fighting to hold my place, just feeling like a piece of grass bending in the wind and watching the show. I swear there was a brief moment of eye contact with Eddie...one of the most intense things I've ever felt to this day.

    2. Seeing PJ 3 days before getting married.

    3. On any given day being able listen to any PJ album and be taken to a place, a past, a feeling, a memory. What power there is in music, and especially PJ!

    4. My favorite PJ shirt that I wore till it was paper thin...now in a quilt that my Mom made for me. Sappy, but I love that quilt.
    It's amazing what you hear when you take time to listen.
