Yes but in doing so you make light of all the victims. Really?
What does that say about you?

I guess making fun of somebody is more important then trying to understand
how people feel and what they are really living through. To me you appear
clueless as to the everyday violence the people in my neck of the woods experience.
My point had nothing to do with what actually happens or actual victims. Look, I couldn't care less about your interpretations of my posts, because they're always wrong, and wildly presumptuous. I also kind of take your condescending negative assumptions about me as a compliment... it means I've taken a position I can be proud of. :|
That sounds exactly like what I think of you, I guess it's true you get what you give.

    spoof alert ;) ...

I'm glad I can at least make you feel good about yourself... bazing!

    47% wasnt flippant, was it?

Obama making every effort to have dinner with his wife and children , engaging and participating in their lives, man what a douchebag.

Hmm, in order to work WITH another party , seems like THEY need to be willing too.

If Romney doesnt fully conform with what you think this country should do, wait for it. He'll get around to pandering to everyone making promises that are impossible to keep.
Yes I don't think the President of the United States should be home every night for dinner.
My own husband wasn't cause we owned a business. You wouldn't be cause you drive truck.
    Real people work and suffer.
It is flippant for him to think he can do this.... President is 24 7 and needs dedication.
I think that is what I feel is lacking, dedication. His cool 8-) has changed to flippant ;)
So then to understand , a father or(one day) a mother should sacrifice their childrens childhood because they have the desire and drive to try and lead this country? Deny them his/her parental guidance? The love that a parents presence can bring? Huh, hadnt thought this of you before.

For myself , I think it's admirable on his part to be as involved as he seems to be able to be in their lives, while being in one of the toughest jobs in the world. It makes it much easier that he also lives right above the office where he works.

Having Dad there at the dinner table is nice but certainly
not necessary to be an effective parent. A presence of heart is what is necessary.
And yes the Presidential Office should come first and definitely can without children suffering.
I think the fact he has refused to be a 24 7 President in his first four years speaks
volumes about his attitude in general.

I have absolutely no problems with this president, any past president, or any future president sitting down for dinner with his kids.

There is absolutely NOTHING that I've seen or anything even close to believable that I've heard to suggest that any time Obama may spend with his family has interfered with his duties and responsibilities as President. Some idiot talking heads from Fox News or some blabbering fool from the GOP may have spewed that idea at some point, but there is nothing based in reality actually showing that this has been the case as far as I've been able to tell. I have seen nothing to suggest that Obama has any more free time than any of his predecessors (and isn't GW still the all-time winner when it comes to amount of vacation time taken during a presidency??). It just seems to me that his free time is better spent, since he spends it with his wife and kids.

Actually that was the morning news....I don't watch Fox news.
Why do people always conclude that it is unfounded? silliness....
this is known by both parties but I see why the blues
    need to defend.

The news spoke of his refusal to have meetings in the evenings and
about the suffering of political relationships that could help our country with policy
because of it. We are talking about the President of the United States
kind of like... take a message when the red phone rings :?

I guess it's true he is no businessman.
Having owned a business I know what it takes 24 7 to keep it going.
I also know that children learn by example and hard working is one of the best.
It does not compromise your relationship with your children
when you are there for them, that does not mean necessarily eating a burger ;)

But as I said it is the attitude that this refusal speaks volumes of.

    His cool has turned flippant,
his dedication is in question and not just with me.
Seems the polls show some are thinking it over.

Forget the dinner table. This is a President that thought it more important to go on The View than meet one on one with world leaders.

all leaders are treated differently than us common folk. democrat or republican, they all are catered to and such. it isn't just obama and other democrats that have celebrity status.

I've got all the info I need. The guy is not neglecting presidential duties to have dinner with his family. The very idea is ridiculous.

Does anyone honestly think that if an emergency came up, BO wouldn't get up from the dinner table? Or hell, even skip a dinner or 2 with the family? Really?

Yes. They are plenty of people who believe that. 30% of Republicans still believe he is a Muslim. People still believe that he is a socialist. People still believe that he is a Marxist...even though most of those people have likely never read Marx.
