Pearl Jam is going to play Alpine Valley in 08

Since everybody is starting threads about Bonnaroo(spelling?) with no real evidence I thought I would start a thread for Alpine Valley.

For me and Patrickredeyes.(You are welcome in advance).

Sleater-Kinney is getting back together to open for this show. And, Chris Cornell, Robert Plant and many others will be there is join in on some songs.


Who knows, maybe Eddie or Stone will read this and go..."Fuck, that's a good idea. I wish I would of thought of that. I should give this guy front row tickets, and backstage passes."

    Were coming up on 5 yrs since they last played Alpine. Now is the time. :D

    If you were there in 2003 you know how freaking great that show was. I was listening to the 2003 this morning. Thinking and hoping for some good news on Tuesday about Alpine.

    I hope PJ plays alpine in 08, but I wouldn't put any money on it. The band is mainly going to play festivals now, I think. Jeff alluded to the band cutting back on the traditional long tours in several 06/07 interviews.

    I believe its been 5 years since they played MSG and the south as well!!!! I agree with speedy! You guys are making me sick with this Alpine BS!!! I do believe they played summerfest in Wisconson last tour! Why do you make it about a venue. Christ I just want them to play some shows in the states I don't care where they play just play already. Its been since July and I am jonesin for a show. I mean they played St Andrews Hall in Detroit which is a tiny club you don't see me saying play St Andrews you haven't since the the early years. Thats all I am saying JUST PLAY US DATES!!!!!!!!!!!
