Your family member chose to spend $600. That family member should be pissed at themselves for paying $600 for a freakin' DVD that will sit on the shelf after a couple views. Paying that much means an intervention is in order. Sit that person down and say "You are crazy. A Pearl Jam DVD for $600?? You are out of your mind!"
So the band releases these DVD's for half the price and you are still mad? I just think on this one the fan club was correct. Once they had a release date (Nov 13th), they released the information.
$80 for 3 bluray's was a huge rip off (altho the material was great). You can get 5 disc complete television seasons (or series) on bluray for half that.
Not like the BluRay copy hasn't been available at Best Buy for the last year for $19.99...just doesn't include he extras...are they really worth $20.00 more?

well I just bought it. I already have the standard version, bought the iTunes version of one of them, and a nice person here sent me the 3rd disc. so all you deluxe bitchers out there, I paid $35 for my now-useless standard set, and another $33 for the deluxe set.

at the time I think a lot of people couldn't justify $75 plus shipping on a movie, especially when the description of it was very vague as I recall.

To those complaining, you still have the original released version (first edition). It may be in a less desirable case for you, but there are people who will want the first release just for their collection. It won't be worth as much as it was but I'm sure it will still go for a premium. Take for example Ten on vinyl. I have the original print but years later it was re-released on 180g vinyl (not the remastered box set), yet the original pressing still sells for more on eBay. Same goes for the ITW vinyl. Sure the original had a 45, but the original pressing with the 45 sells for over $200 still, while the second pressing sells for $35.
If you're that unhappy, sell it now and order the new version.

I am so thrilled by this! Wasn't sure this day was ever going to happen, but Pearl Jam and 10c pulled through! They really do listen to us...how could they not?! I already purchased mine and I can't wait for it! Thanks PJ and 10c for taking care of us crazy fans!

I'm just glad that this is finally priced appropriately. This should destroy the ebay value too and get both bluray sets below $80. Vinyl and posters going for outrageous prices are a little more acceptable than a damn DVD. That's beyond ridiculous.

Demetrios is from Canada and pays less shipping charges than many 10C members living in the lower 48 states, the cheapest rate I got for a DVD was 5 USD for US to Argentina...
