I know this guy is kinda new to the scene, but I'm surprised he's not more talked about. I know he has an EP out, but I'm lookin forward to a full length release someday. He says he's influenced by grunge, soul, and everything in between. Here's a vid of him crushin' it Clapton's Crossroads Festival from 2010, also feat. Doyle Bramhall, Jr. This guy should be huge!
Check him out if you haven't already. This song is killer!

Discovered him fairly recently, too, and DAMN he is good! He's having a free Central Park SummerStage show on July 28th with another awesome band called GIVERS. Hope I can check that out!"Sometimes you find yourself having to put all your faith in no faith."

Just finished watching his set from MIA. Man, he's got a lot of talent. Plays with a soul that reaches forever.
Looking forward to Gary Clark Jr's full album coming out in October, for sure.

I got to watch him right up front from the rail and he was one of my absolute favorite sets at Coachella this year. Can't wait for his album. While his EP solo version of "When My Train Pulls In" is phenomenal, I can't wait for the full electric version. Such a great song.0
