Strange that a date in Toronto wasn't booked between the Montreal and Chicago shows.
I was thinking the same thing. But with the large gap in between those two shows, maybe there is still some hope?

let the "concentrate on a new PJ album already" posts begin!

I would, but it should already be finished, no? ;)

    No.

Last I heard was they had 6-7 songs ready to be recorded in studio. And many a couple ideas that they haven't done anything else with yet. Still a long way to go.

I would say concentrate on the new PJ album, but Ed is touring solo in Nov/Dec so I'm glad everyone is getting their solo stuff out of the way at the same time.

Yeah, I already knew that and was being sarcastic, hence the wink...

    VERY excited about this

Jeff is the hardest working man in showbiz. I love when the fire comes and i LOVED three fish and i have a feeling this project may have a similar flavor.

    dear pearl jam,

Awesome!!!!!! Any side project of Jeff's gets me very excited! His work never disappoints. And coming to Vancouver. Pumped. :)

I almost flipped out. The email I got was looking weird (my phone's fault), and it looked for a minute like it was an announcement about a new bassist for PJ and Jeff was leaving. I almost had a fucking heart attack.

I agree about him driving the PJ album. He's a huge creative force these days.

Anything by Joseph Arthur is a winner for me - the fact that he's with Jeff makes it even better! Can't wait for this album.
