    You know..I thought about this and I think it makes a whole lot of sense and it also isn't going to happen because the I doubt the Yankees will want that distraction around just for Melky.

    But 1 year $8 million or so to fill Swishers void....can't really beat that. No risk in a 1 year deal and they are able to get it off the books before they want to get under the $189 in 2014. If they were confident in him bouncing back if they could get him on a 2 year deal for cheap, that would be big since it would be a small number for an outfielder going to that $189, that definitely wont happen though.

    If that isn't a solid series win, I don't know what is. Now sweep 'em.

    No shame in the Hamilton bombs, but a good job limiting the damage. Freddy is BP to guys like Hamilton.
