I wear a Pearl Jam T-Shirt to EVERY concert I attend

No matter who the performer is, I wear a Pearl Jam t-shirt. Bruce Springsteen at Fenway Park next week: Pearl Jam T-shirt. Eric Clapton: Pearl Jam T-shirt. Small bands in clubs, e.g. Dawes: Pearl Jam T-Shirt.

Why?

These performers -- and the audience -- need to know the standard they are being judged against.

A Pearl Jam shirt to every concert? A good idea I think so! I also wear music stuff at every concert I were but not only PJ. But in the future I´ll do the same!

It's funny because I usually do the same. Its a good talking point too. I went to 3 DMB shows this summer and chatted with fellow PJ fans because of my shirt.

Well so long as you don't wear a PJ shirt to a PJ show then that's ok, cause we all know that's a massive no no ;)

i wore my green disease PJ shirt a few weeks ago taking my son to his first Iron Maiden concert. There's a band that can really do some awesome merch and the 10club should take some merch lessons from Iron Maiden but i wore my PJ proudly nevertheless!

I have seen this debated many times over the years on the board. In my opinion, it's really not a big deal. Not sure why people are judged for it. :) (my opinion)
    Run for it, Marty.
  • Well no one seemed to mind all the pearl jam shirts at PJ20 in Wisconsin :D:D:lol::lol:
And I'll be wearing a different PJ soccer jersey to each day at Deluna fest!! :D

Only messing with you, of course it's no big deal. Although I guess you could look at it in the way someone else mentioned, and in wearing a different band's t shirt to a PJ show it can be a conversation starter with cool random people - everyone already knows you like PJ, because you're there seeing them!
