Yeah, it sure would make more sense to group like music together. Unless, they have the idea that mixing it all up will keep folks there spending money for the entire duration of the weekend.

should be ok if you ask. sometimes they can''t guarantee it but they'll hold your bags for you until a room is available

Thats what they did for me when I visited Memphis and wanted to get wrecked on Beale Street instead of waiting in the hotel lobby . The problem here may be that bands are going to start playing at the festival with my bags in the lobby. Oh well, I will worry about it if and when I have to.

I'm pretty sure most hotels will be pretty accommodating. This was from last week:
Hives are good. If X is playing Sunday as well, this is yet another indication Pearl Jam is playing Sunday.
The Hives were announced? That's cool, although they just played philly about a month ago. Great live. Hopefully this time they will play longer than 1 hr. and 15 mins. though :?

also i saw TV on the Radio added to the list and Passion Pit removed --- that being said the promo says 28 bands and i am counting like 21 already announced - so that doesn't really leave a lot for phase 2.

Passion Pit has been cancelling dates because of mental health. Damn, I was looking forward to seeing them for the first time. I love TV on the Radio but Ive already seen them 4 times (including front row)
anyone have any idea if the vip $350 is worth it - cant find any info about seating and i might pay as it might be my only chance to see them up close as my number isnt super high...

well thats kinda my question - does the vip area take up the front?
I can't answer that but other festivals I have been to had the VIP area take up the front of half the stage and the other half could be taken up by the common folk
