From what I read, the doc is going to be Jay-Z focused, probably about him putting the show together, etc., and then performing. My guess is if they're shown, it'll be more as part of an overall mix of the artists he pulled together for the festival.

So what hotels is everyone staying at. It looks like im going to have to stay somewhat farther away and take the train in.

Totally last minute decision to go, we just booked Best Western City Center for Sunday, couldn't get anything close (or cheap!) for both nights. We're only going to Sunday night anyway so it's fine, but we'll have to do the speedy checkin drop our stuff and walk over. Hoping the crowds aren't Lolla '07 size for PJ's set because we'll be screwed getting to the fest after 3.

Can someone please link me to this app/map/schedule?

And another matter for travel package holders..How are we supposed to operate on Saturday when we can't check in to the hotel till 4pm but get will call at 10am and the festival supposedly starts at 12? I emailed cid about this but I'm yet to hear back.

  • I plan on catching The Hives and then moving over to the main stage for the rest of the day. I am hoping this strategy gets me as close as possible come 9 PM.

same strategy here! I hope that the crowd was like the crowds I was in at Firefoy Festival.. i.e. nice and respectful

I wonder if Chris Cornell will play more than one track off his Scream CD since that type of music is more in line with this show's lineup than gigs he would usually play at?

So the schedule posted on this thread is or isn't correct?

I can't find a schedule anywhere else online, so I'm inclined to think it's incorrect.
    Does anyone know for sure?

& Released1980, I'm with ya'. I plan on leaving Boston Saturday morning @ 7:00,and that may be a moot point if we can't check in until 4:00.

I am sure your hotel will have a place to check bags and you can pick them up after...or leave them in your car.

I've been trying to find out more info about the schedule myself..Someone here said something about an app but I cant find shit :? .. Im hoping it's a bit off cuz I wanna see the Hives and if they're on at 2pm then that blows my preparty plans. IMO the Hives are a fantastic opener for Pearl Jam, they would jack the crowd up something silly.

Cliffy..Thats def the plan if I cant check in early. Just kinda blows that if the hotel sticks to 4pm check in and the gates open at 12 and there is a no re entry policy, then I'm not getting settled until the end of night 1. I emailed CID about this and they basically said we are shit outta luck if ya bought a travel package. Either way I'll be there pretty damn early on Saturday ready to fkn rock! :D

30th St. Station is the main train station serving Philadelphia and only 1.2 miles from the Budweiser Made in America festival site. Amtrak, Septa and New Jersey Transit all service 30th St Station. (Pulled from MIA FAQ)

Yeah, I was disappointed to see Run DMC scheduled so early too. I just can't see myself going in either day before 4 or 5:00
