I think even when you see the schedule- it will probably say PJ has the 9-11 slot Sunday- but we all know what they think of curfews

Very true, but they didn't play past curfew at Lolla 07.. So I will be expecting the worst. :x

any suggestions for out of towners arriving on saturday to enjoy philly dtown area?(wife and i are not attending mia that night).

we are going to bruce on monday and heard of some bruce exhibit but my wife is very meh on him to begin with so we maybe some museum, historical site, and restaurant suggestions?

will see those attending the pre/post parties on sunday, can't wait!

The Bruce exhibit is at the National Constitution Center, which has cool stuff in addition to that exhibit. That's in the Old City section of Philly, which also has historical things like the Liberty Bell and the Betsy Ross house in close walking distance.

Old City has decent lunch/dinner/bar options, but I'd recommend a subway or cab to Rittenhouse Square for that. Philly is big on small, independent restaurants where you can bring your own wine/beer. I would recommend Mercato and -- a bit pricier -- Audrey Claire. They don't take reservations but both have nice bars right across the street where you can wait for your table if need be.

They also cut 4 songs off of PJ20 Night 1 because of the curfew.

If PJ plays a solid two hours I won't leave disappointed. I would really like to know when Cornell is set to play, hopefully a schedule is released soon, but I'll stick with my early Sept prediction

My gf really wants to see Drake, and I am predicting a PJ/Drake overlap... guess we will be splitting up that day

I predict I'll be hanging out with you.

But you bring up a good point, that in my mind is more important than the schedule, I'd like a map of the set up. I have a good idea of where the main stage will be, but the other two??

Anyone have any info on the regular VIP vs platinum?

I know the platinum will have a better view but is the regular VIP just a waste?

They are so vague on their site

Thanks much! old city section and a few restaurants/pubs seems like enough to do around the concerts. hate to admit it, but i am more psyched for the e-street shows, he's on a legendary run right now.

marathon? from philly to the jersey shore can't be more than 2 hours. I personally wouldn't consider that a looong drive.

What do YOU think the chances are, that Cornell plays atleast 1 song with Pearl Jam?

What do YOU think the chances are, that Eddie plays atleast 1 song with Cornell during his solo set?
    :o

I just realized that this is possible... :P

    I got to go about:
    60% Chris plays with PJ.
    90% Eddie plays with Chris.

Not sure about percentages, but I'd say there's a greater chance of Chris coming onstage with PJ than Ed coming onstage with Chris.
