Any suggestions from locals of where to stay? I should probably start booking all that
My wife books hotels for out of town co-workers all the time. Your best bet, price-wise, is Holiday Inn Mid-town.
Thanks, I'll check it out! :thumbup:WI '98, WI '99 (EV), WI '00, Chgo '00, MO '00, Champaign '03, Chgo '03, WI '03, IN '03, MI '04, Chgo '06:N1 & 2, WI '06, Chgo '07, Chgo '08 (EV:N1), Chgo '09:N1 & 2, Chgo '11 (EV:N1), WI '11:N1 & 2, Philly '12, Wrigley '13, Pitt '13, Buff '13, Detroit '14, MKE '14, Wrigley '16: N1 & N2, Seattle '18 N2, Wrigley '18: N1 & N2, Fenway '18 N1, STL '22, St Paul '23 N2, Chgo '23: N1 & N2, Wrigley '24 N1 & 20 -

Why are you even questioning this?! GO! You know that you will regret it when you are following the setlist that night, so might as well save up a little and come!
Don't buy a 2 day pass, only get a ticket for the day PJ is playing!
Definitely will become more of a concrete decision whether to go or not when dates get sorted out and single day passes (if they are even gonna be a thing) are released. Then I can get a better handle on what it's all gonna cost me. Ideally, I'd like for a friend to come with me too, so there's that. Remains to be seen! Hopefully it is do-ableThanks for offering your help also, Marcos, very kind of you!

So, I think I am going to try to go the Made in America Festival. Flights out of Chicago arent too bad and I could use some Marriott points for hotels. Just wondering what type of set we will get. What Marriotts do locals suggest close to the site?0

This sounds really cool, simply gonna be a fantastic day with good people from start to finish now.
This sounds awesome, thanks for organising! Hopefully I can convince the H-bomb (husband) to come along without too much of a fight. He's not a fan, although I'm guessing he will be after they blow his mind into a million happy pieces at this gigI love a few drinks after a PJ concert . . . You're always so excited it's like you need to grab the night by the horns and give it a good shake! Hopefully I'll meet a few of you pj-loving-honeys at the festival and/or see you at The Irish Pol, and if I'm not pregnant by then I'll be taking full (and I mean FULL-ON) advantage of those happy-hour beers . . . So excited about seeing our boys!! (And about a holiday in the incredible US of A!) If anyone has any tips on how to get decent spots at the festival that would be very much appreciated
See you there kids. CAN'T WAIT!

Yeah I am slightly inthe same boat...
Summer means working 40 hours a week and getting an awesome paycheck, but not seeing friends as much as I would like..
September means back to school, seeing all of my closest friends, enjoying learning, but not earning money while racking up alot of debt...2003: 7/14 NJ ... 2006: 6/1 NJ, 6/3 NJ ... 2007: 8/5 IL ... 2008: 6/24 NY, 6/25 NY, 8/7 EV NJ ... 2009: 10/27 PA, 10/28 PA, 10/30 PA, 10/31 PA

I've never regretted it and you won't either.0 -

Guess what day 10club or Made In America will announce the specific date PJ Is playing.
(Whichever comes first, since they are both reliable and wouln't be just a rumor.)
Winner gets 2 things:
1: The knowledge of what date Pearl Jam is playing.
2: 10 "Units of Pride" for being right!:geek:
My guess: Monday, July 23rd
Today is the day they will annouce the date.:(
