Write to McFarlane and ask him to refund you plus customs. He's been offering refunds but has no replacements :(

Lots of people have been writing to him and have received responses. PM one of the people on the earlier pages (think they posted here). Or PM one of the people on ebeans. Maybe type up your response on the site again and save it somewhere before you submit in case it returns an error again. Or did you pay through PayPal? Use the PayPal address. Good luck :(

Email McFarlane and ask for a refund. You will have to send the poster back.

It's pretty sad if all 100 s/n prints that were shipped out from Todd's store are arriving damaged. Kinda shocking seeing that the store sells collectable toys & memorabilia, you would think their packaging department would be A+. All these stories of reckless packaging. Less kraft paper covering the poster. The ends of the poster were bent & creased. The back of the poster were creased to oblivion. Rolled too tight etc.. The caps on the bottom & top of the poster tube were not taped up; which means anyone could of opened the tube @ the airport or through transportation with ease. And UPS charging almost half the cost of the poster for international orders? DAMN!!!!!! :shock:
The people who bought from McFarlane need to get together and create somekind of unity. This situation is crazy. Mine came out somewhat okay compared to what people have been saying. However, I am still not pleased with it. I sent Todd's store a message and they sent back a template response. My username is 5vs1 on expressobeans. I mean if only a few were damaged, that would be one thing, but it seems like a majority were damaged in some way.
How can we get something done? If we all send individual messages, we get template responses. Could we create somekind of list of email addresses from people with damaged prints and one person send an email with everyone CCed? Strength in numbers kind of thing? As a business, if you fuck up this big, you shouldn't just offer refunds and say "I'm sorry." That response is just not good enough. The response "there is nothing we can do at this time" is bullshit. You can always do something about it. I would happily send mine back, if they would send me another one they reprinted or obtained somehow. They could then destroy the one I sent back to keep the #/200's integrity. It seems like a huge headache for them, but I feel they should have a headache over this giant fuckup.

what if was a big client with 100000 copies?..they will reprint or not the posters?
they need to reprint the 100 pieces,resign them and sent them back to u guys.

There is no easy way to handle this. There are now Spawn posters shipped and damaged, all over the world. A solution that might work for you, and please you, may not please the next guy. So, how do you tackle that? Say, the hell with him?

If I were Maxx or McFarlane, I would give everyone with damaged prints a window to send them back either for a refund or replacement. Then I would print copies to replace those, and resign/renumber and send them back. All this at my expense. And also throw in some additional surprises in the tube. Yeah, Maxx's prints came pristine but he's accountable here too. I'd be completely horrified if I were him.
I would be upfront with this solution to EVERYONE. Anyone not happy with it can just flat out send their prints back for a full refund including shipping, no questions asked, even if there's nothing wrong with their poster. Then when the dust settles, I would resell what's left.
I'm sure this is a big no-no in limited runs but to me, it's a far better solution than what's going on now. There's no one solution that would make everyone happy but if this were my work, I know what I would want to do to make this right and that would be my way. Just offering a refund is just not good enough if this were happening under my watch.
The print run doesn't have to increase. Why not this situation:
If you received a damaged print, then send it back to McFarlane. After McFarlane receives all the damaged prints, he could then reprint that many posters and replace them. McFarlane could then destroy the damaged prints that he received. The print run would not increase with this situation.
However, if prints can't be reprinted for whatever reason, let us know the specific reason.

He buys that exact number of posters from 10Club at $35 each (so he'd still be making a profit but not having to reprint any more). He renumbers these new posters with the exact numbers that were destroyed. He gets an education on how to handle, roll, and ship posters. He then sends you back a new copy with your original number. Along with an apology.
Win win win.

sorry guys this is the reality of it all. Todds store is all about profit. Anyosters that get sent back will be marked with a S/D and sold at his store in Glendale or sold again online with the description they are damaged. I doubt very, very much they will reprint any more. Thats what im told any way.
Todd has very little if any hands onOr interaction with his store or online store. Its ran by the people who rolled the posters. after seeing this I wouldn't let him roll my burrito

I would be upfront with this solution to EVERYONE. Anyone not happy with it can just flat out send their prints back for a full refund including shipping, no questions asked, even if there's nothing wrong with their poster. Then when the dust settles, I would resell what's left.
