Definitely a problem w/ this rotation. Humber and Floyd have both been pretty bad lately. Gotta send one of them to the bullpen or skip them a start or something. I would keep Quintana in the rotation over either of those 2 right now once Danks comes back.

i couldnt agree with you more. i also really wish they had gio instead of that bonehead floyd. the guy has pretty damn good stuff but doesnt know what to do with it

Yeah, Floyd is one of the most frustrating pitchers to watch. He'll go on those hot streaks where he looks unhittable and you think he finally has it figured out, but then he'll pitch like shit for a month. Unfortunately at this point in his career, that's what he is. An incredibly streaky pitcher who will either shut a team down or get rocked.

Well, Gavin Floyd fucking stinks. 2 big holes in that rotation right now.

I dont blame anyone for not going. TIcket prices are ridiculous for this series...$48 total for cheapest face value seat. No thanks.

not a ton of tix on stub hub. 504 of em to be exact as of this posting.

cheapest is $50 in sect 145 (just past the 3rd base dugout), row 28. just glancing i noticed some bleachers for 96 bucks. :fp:

Ridiculous prices to see a mediocre team and an awful team. Same thing happened with the series at wrigley...there were bleacher seats with something crazy like a $90 face value.

Having said that, the Sox better not get swept tonight. Although w/ Floyd pitching, I am expecting a loss.

Nice to finally win a series. I think it was 5 series in a row they had lost.

I like the Youkilis trade. Didn't give up much with Lillibridge and Stewart plus Boston is picking up most of his salary. He obviously isn't what he used to be, but it can't get much worse that the Sox current 3B situation.

That pretty much sums it up. I really like the deal for Chicago.

Peavy has really been getting hosed lately....he has pitched well his last few starts, but getting virtually zero run support. This offense really needs to get goin here...

Yeah, I think he is something like 0 for his last 25. Looks like he is going to destroy the record for most Ks in a season. But as long as he has 40 HRs and 100 RBI and a solid OBP to go along with that, fine with me.

Nice win today. Sox are catching a break missing Sabathia this weekend in NY. A split would be nice in this 4-gamer.

That's two series wins in a row. The Yanks are in bad shape pitching wise. Maybe the Sox can outslugg them?

Yeah, I can see this being a very high scoring weekend with the Yankees pitching issues and their stacked lineup.
