Going to one of the games against the Cubs, then at least 2 more. Middle of season and end, like every other year. Who knows, if they keep playing well, maybe they'll give me a reason to go to a few more.I am lost, I'm no guide, but I'm by your side0

Great matchup on Friday night. I think I am heading there on Saturday for the game. The attendance will start climbing now....0 -

Did you check out the ticket prices for the Cubs series? What a joke! Not sure how you could afford to take a family to these games. I guess the reason I'm not there so much, is I remember the days I could drive to County Stadium and pay $4 to sit in the bleachers, and under $10 in Chicago. I was in highschool then and made a little over $5 an hour. I don't know any highschool student now that makes the price of a bleacher ticket in an hour. Especially for the Cubs series. I think this is why the stadium is so empty. It's going to be hard to make new fans when a kid can't afford to go on his or her own with their own money. I wish I could afford to go to more games, but the reality is I can't. It's not that I don't want to go to the games, I simply can't afford to go to that many games. I guess I'll watch most of them on tv, and go to a few here and there. I think this is a big reason their aren't many fans. Just my opinion.I am lost, I'm no guide, but I'm by your side06.27.98 Alpine Valley

Yeah, that whole dynamic pricing thing gets a little out of hand w/ these Cubs-Sox series. I thought the Sox would have learned this after there were some empty seats for all 3 games during last year's series w/ the Cubs.0 -

Definitely a problem w/ this rotation. Humber and Floyd have both been pretty bad lately. Gotta send one of them to the bullpen or skip them a start or something. I would keep Quintana in the rotation over either of those 2 right now once Danks comes back.0 -

Yeah, Floyd is one of the most frustrating pitchers to watch. He'll go on those hot streaks where he looks unhittable and you think he finally has it figured out, but then he'll pitch like shit for a month. Unfortunately at this point in his career, that's what he is. An incredibly streaky pitcher who will either shut a team down or get rocked.0 -
Well, Gavin Floyd fucking stinks. 2 big holes in that rotation right now.0

I dont blame anyone for not going. TIcket prices are ridiculous for this series...$48 total for cheapest face value seat. No thanks.0 -

Ridiculous prices to see a mediocre team and an awful team. Same thing happened with the series at wrigley...there were bleacher seats with something crazy like a $90 face value.
Having said that, the Sox better not get swept tonight. Although w/ Floyd pitching, I am expecting a loss.0 -
