Look for the first pitch to be high and tight

I find myself watching the games with no sound more and more lately. Hawk's whole act is just getting old...

I couldn't be happier to be so wrong about this team so far. They are playing out of their minds right now.

Bats are hot once again today. 6 hits and 3 runs through 3 innings. Viciedo might be the hottest hitter in the league right now.

2 Sox players were hit. Quintana then throws a pitch behind Zobrist and ump throws him out immediately. The ump didn't even issue a warning. What a fucking joke some of these umps are. You cant just throw a guy out without issuing a warning. arently Hawk lost his mind on the air....haven't heard it yet but read about it on twitter.

Going to one of the games against the Cubs, then at least 2 more. Middle of season and end, like every other year. Who knows, if they keep playing well, maybe they'll give me a reason to go to a few more.

Did you check out the ticket prices for the Cubs series? What a joke! Not sure how you could afford to take a family to these games. I guess the reason I'm not there so much, is I remember the days I could drive to County Stadium and pay $4 to sit in the bleachers, and under $10 in Chicago. I was in highschool then and made a little over $5 an hour. I don't know any highschool student now that makes the price of a bleacher ticket in an hour. Especially for the Cubs series. I think this is why the stadium is so empty. It's going to be hard to make new fans when a kid can't afford to go on his or her own with their own money. I wish I could afford to go to more games, but the reality is I can't. It's not that I don't want to go to the games, I simply can't afford to go to that many games. I guess I'll watch most of them on tv, and go to a few here and there. I think this is a big reason their aren't many fans. Just my opinion.

this year, tickets are cheap for the cubs in the second hand market, but face is silly. i'd guess a basic HS job is going to get you 8-10 an hour.

Yeah, that whole dynamic pricing thing gets a little out of hand w/ these Cubs-Sox series. I thought the Sox would have learned this after there were some empty seats for all 3 games during last year's series w/ the Cubs.

Definitely a problem w/ this rotation. Humber and Floyd have both been pretty bad lately. Gotta send one of them to the bullpen or skip them a start or something. I would keep Quintana in the rotation over either of those 2 right now once Danks comes back.
