Boise 00-great crowd!
There was a little instrumental intro to Betterman that I had never heard before. Does anyone know if this was unusual, or have I just not listened to enough boots??"A beacon on dry land"0 -

Listening to Nagoya 2003. Again.
This show, basically like any show from the Japanese leg of the 2003 tour, is a gem. Even though the audience is low in the mix and can be considered quite reluctant (I did have to get used to this), the performance by the band is flawless. Highlights are abundant, and include Given To Fly (as a set opener), Brain Of J. (hands down better than versions played recently), Insignificance, MFC into improv into Immortality (brilliance to flavor a unique experience), Light Years, Daughter (no tags, just stripped-down greatness), Whipping, Footsteps. The list goes on.. .

I haven't listened to this bootleg in a long time but I believe you're talking about the intro called Romance (Romanza) very common during only the Binaural Tour. Oh! And one time during the 2005 tour.Athens 2006 / Milton Keynes 2014 / London 1&2 2022 / Seattle 1&2 2024 / Dublin 2024 / Manchester 2024 / New Orleans 20250 -

Maybe you remember that bass-only performance of "My Friend Of Misery" from Jason Newsted. Type on YouTube "My Friend Of Misery live Pullman 1992".Athens 2006 / Milton Keynes 2014 / London 1&2 2022 / Seattle 1&2 2024 / Dublin 2024 / Manchester 2024 / New Orleans 20250 -
Thanks for the info, Pap! It's a pretty little instrumental-I'll have to listen for it on other boots from the Binaural Tour!
By the way, I liked that quote from Eddie on the Boise boot- "We will never not play here again". I hope they do play there again in the near future!"A beacon on dry land"0 -
