Finished Philly IV on Sunday. In terms of the event and closing the Spectrum, these 4 gigs are good but they definitely aren't amongst the best PJ performances.

On Monday I started with the Australia/New Zealand 2009 tour. Up first was Perth, decent start to the tour. Red Mosquito with Ben Harper was killer - not a fan of Harper but on Red Mosquito he is great. Throw Your Arms Around Me with Liam Finn was also good.

Adelaide 09. No Way sounded fantastic. Mike's solo on Even Flow sounded insane. Ben Harper again on Red Mosquito but it was Indifference that was great! I'm not a fan of Harper singing Indifference but this was a truly great version.

I love hearing Rival on a boot. They should play it more often!

Is that you only getting around to those Aus/NZ shows now? Melbourne and Brisbane are great shows too and Auckland has been played a lot in our house. There's not a bad show, even Sydney when Ed was ill.

I'm watching Santiago 2 2005 on DVD right now, killer versions of Porch, Immortality and Crazy Mary... :D

Winding down on the day...some great bootlegs from July 3rd.

Right now? Arras, France 2010. Earlier Denver, CO 2006. Both very good, especially Red Mosquito with Ben Harper, and Porch on the Arras boot.

Hehe, yeah only just got onto Aus/NZ. Think I was halfway through Canada 05 when I bought them off you and then went back to some 00's and 03s.

Just finishing off Melbourne now, good gig. Deep/Why Go/Porch was a great 3 song run. Interesting start with Small Town followed by Corduroy. Brother is just cool. Oceans after Even Flow

    Sydney tomorrow :D

    Sydney 09.

Stellar performance from Ed despite being ill. Could hear he was really struggling at the end on SOLAT, Last Exit, Porch and Crazy Mary
