Agreed... but both makes it even better!

Any place close by to grab some food? Or will I be eating before I head up?
Houston, Texas... Believe it or not, there are 7 million people here... must be a couple of fans who'd love to see you play.

Man, if you guys have extra time while you're in Austin, look up The Salt Lick... best BBQ of all time, and it's BYOB.... absolutely amazing spot, but it's on the outskirts of the city...

I'm not a big meat eater but I've had Salt Lick bbq and it was kinda awesome!

I googlemaps the pre-party address for food close by, and found this: http://www.polkadotscupcakefactory.com/

Screw dinner, I'm having cupcakes and beer :lol::lol:

The Pre-Party is literally right next to a decent diner called Kerbey Lane. There may also be a food trailer at the pre-party. It is on a street (Guadalupe) with lots of shops and restaurants including a couple decent pizza places, chipotle, potbelly sandwich, one of the 10 best wing bars in the country according to USA Today called Pluckers is just a couple blocks away. Austin is a foodie paradise. If you want to go to Salt Lick, just know that it is about 30 minutes from downtown. It is an experience you will not forget. I am sure Bryan and I would be happy to help you meet your foodie needs in Austin. Tell us what you need and we will be your concierge.

Please Note: While Austin is maybe the greatest city ever (bias), parking and traffic are bad. The Pre-Party venue has limited parking, as does the show venue, so give yourself time to get wherever you are going.

Thanks for the info! Any recommendations for good coffee and good breakfast? I guess probably closer to 6th st area rather than pre-party, for when I get up the next morning :lol:

Very jealous... If I could afford the extra time off work i'd meet you there!

    I can't believe we're less than a month away now! can't wait.

When I hit up Austin,I always seem to find myself at Opal Devines for breakfast when we're in a hurry.... if we're not there's this place we hit up last time called Magnolia Cafe... you'll have to drive there from 6th street, but it's worth the trip (and the wait)...

Who needs food, when you have music, beer and soon to be good friends! Can't get better than this. Whose airport has displays of multi colored guitars by the baggage claim. You can't go wrong!

Now I'm really getting excited. have listened to PJ Radio for a month non-stop. I can sing along to any song anyone pulls out now :-)

Great to know the pre party is a micro brew. those make the best hang outs.
