We are getting close! Starting to count down the days now!! I've updated the initial post with additional items that have been donated and RSVPs.

We've got two parties to cover so we are still in need of additional donations!! Anyone have an extra set list or two? Guitar picks? Posters that are just sitting in a tube? Please check under the bed and in the drawers.

Donations don't have to be Pearl Jam related. If you have contacts with a local business that you think may be interested in donating items, please let me know and we can help you reach out. We sincerely appreciate all the support we have already received. You guys rock!

I also want to share some recent comments from the Innocence Project of Texas. Nick Vilbas, the Executive Directory for the IPOT, recently posted on the Facebook event page and his comments are below.

"Hey Everybody, I am the Executive Director for the Innocence Project of Texas and I am extremely stoked for the event. I am a Pearl Jam fan from way back and IPOT is grateful to be included, we need all the help we can get in the fight for justice. I look forward to hanging out and meeting everyone that attends!"

Nick and the IPOT are super excited to be a part of this event. It takes a lot of money to do the work that they do and their work is not something that gets a lot constant attention. That lack of constant awareness to the number of people wrongly convicted and fighting for their freedom can make fundraising more difficult. We can make a difference!

ok. well, i'm spending easter at my sister's house with a 7 year boy and a 3 year old girl, so i wore my blue Wave EV t-shirt anyway, cause i get to wear it in 5 months instead of three weeks, and my sister when i sat down at the restaurant said, oh, what's on your shirt? so yes, PJ merch is really cool graphics :-)

Watching the kids on the driveway, the three old comes up twice to say play the LONG ROAD again on my Kindle Fire :-)

So, I still carried on!

And maybe now we get to hear some new
PJ songs!

Well this is a bummer.

I've spoken to The Local Pub and Patio and also got in touch with Nick from the IPOT. They understand these things happen and are more than ready to pick it back up later this Fall. The silver lining is that this gives us more time to secure donations and gives more folks another chance to make plans to attend.

Thank you to everyone! You guys have been super supportive and I can't wait till November!

BTW, the IPOT had a big day yesterday!! Check it out.

ok, rebooked at a different hotel altogether. is this still safe on i35. Roadeway Inn University.
Goal was to get as close as i could to the venue.
Yeah, and it's completely on the other side of the pre party. Taxi anyone?!

I haven't rebooked my hotel yet, but I should probably do that soon...

after the first disappointment it hasn't really dawned on me that this is in the "relative" near future....

Still looking for donations. PM me if you have something that you think would make a good raffle or auction item. I also just realized that the Sunday pre-party is going to be happening during the Cowboys/Eagles game. So another reason to come on out and have a few drinks and buy a few raffle tickets.

I've secured a Mike McCready autographed copy of the PJ 20 Book. I also have an Ed Vedder autographed 2009 ACL Booklet. Both items will be available during the pre-parties!

Sure would be sweet if there was an ACL taping on Saturday 11/10. I know nothing of the sort but a rumor like that would make me happy!

Three weeks away, yeah!

I'll be there... however I'm not going on facebook to RSVP.

I can probably donate a raffle item for the 11/11 show... I'll bring a poster of some kind, let me rustle through what I have and i'll pick something out. You provide receipts?

I'd offer to bring something for the 11/9 show, but not sure what time I'll get to Austin on Friday, so I don't want to commit and not make it there on time...

Wondering if there might be anyone here interested in a trip to the Jester King Brewery?

I suddenly find myself traveling to the shows solo, and I really want to head out to jester king on saturday to do a tasting...

For those not famaliar it is probably the best artisian brewery in the state of texas... a local gem for sure...
