ok, rebooked at a different hotel altogether. is this still safe on i35. Roadeway Inn University.
Goal was to get as close as i could to the venue.
Yeah, and it's completely on the other side of the pre party. Taxi anyone?!

waiting very impatiently for Nov!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I haven't rebooked my hotel yet, but I should probably do that soon...
after the first disappointment it hasn't really dawned on me that this is in the "relative" near future....
Need to survive the trip over for ACL first...
Houston, Texas... Believe it or not, there are 7 million people here... must be a couple of fans who'd love to see you play.
Less than a month away and we are getting back into the full swing of organizing and pre-party planning. I have updated the main page with the new Facebook event pages for both pre-parties. Please click on those and rsvp if you plan to attend. (Links are also below) Also spread the word with those you know might be attending.
Still looking for donations. PM me if you have something that you think would make a good raffle or auction item. I also just realized that the Sunday pre-party is going to be happening during the Cowboys/Eagles game. So another reason to come on out and have a few drinks and buy a few raffle tickets.
I've secured a Mike McCready autographed copy of the PJ 20 Book. I also have an Ed Vedder autographed 2009 ACL Booklet. Both items will be available during the pre-parties!
Sure would be sweet if there was an ACL taping on Saturday 11/10. I know nothing of the sort but a rumor like that would make me happy!
I'll be there... however I'm not going on facebook to RSVP.
I can probably donate a raffle item for the 11/11 show... I'll bring a poster of some kind, let me rustle through what I have and i'll pick something out. You provide receipts?
I'd offer to bring something for the 11/9 show, but not sure what time I'll get to Austin on Friday, so I don't want to commit and not make it there on time...

I'm still not sure how my Saturday is looking, but will still be up in Austin that day and that looks enticing to do!
Hey Amber... long time no see!
If you haven't had jester king, their beer is fantabulous.....
Even if people are interested in the brewery, it would be cool to make some new Texas PJ friends on Saturday if anyone has another suggestion, I'm all ears!

So what does everyone think the odds are that Willie Nelson is going to turn up at one of these shows?
With all the talk ed's been doing about Willie's version of just breathe, i have this sneaking suspecion that the man himself just might turn up for a duet....

Night 2 was awesome as well. Just over $1,000 raised tonight!! You guys are awesome! Thanks so much for coming out and supporting us and The Innocence Project of Texas. We raised almost $2,200 in two days and we couldn't have done it without all your generous donations. Thanks again. Houston, you got next!
Update: $2,210.00 was the final number that we raised for The Innocence Project of Texas! Thanks again to everyone that made it out and to all those that donated items for the raffles and auctions.
