I know there are Rumors flying around about the Boys playing again 2012 at Alpine. I did indeed talk with a few people last year and they all said the boys had already signed on to play again next year. Along with Fish and Dave Matthews, which are already announced.

With that said, hoping I will get tickets, I have already made my room reservations at The Hampton Inn in Elkhorn. 7-10 Minutes away. They have 5 Rooms left so if you are remotely considering this weekend I would make reservations to assure you are close to the venue.

    Am actually believing this and don't tend to jump on the rumour bandwagon
    I don't mean to offend anyone, a lot of what I say should be taken with a grain of salt... that said for most of you I'm a stranger on a computer on the other side of the world, don't give me that sort of power!

    I hope that they play a bunch of other US dates and not just Alpine. Getting tickets was such a mess last year with only 1 US stop.

    I probably had the most unproductive day at work last year trying to get tickets, but it all worked out in the end.....lottery, 9th row front and center Night 1. :D

    I hope they don't play AV again. It would take a little of the specialness from last year. PJ20 should not be done every year IMO.

    I feel a bit the same, wouldn't miss going back to Alpine if I can avoid it, but worry that doing it again will mar last year somehow

    I said fuck it and just finished reserving a room at the Alpine Resort just now. I live to close to pass it up if it happens. We drove back and forth each night last time and it kind of sucked it and took some of the experience away so this time I plan on doing it right.

    What I find interesting is that they told me rates have not been determined yet. I could swear that someone on the board here a few weeks back posted about reserving a room at the resort just in case and the rates were like $100 or $150 a night. Maybe the rates are being renegotiated with Alpine and 10c to work out availability and travel packages.
