You actually call that a hotel?

Thats about all we did... Slept, and then away again...

Heard the same thing about the 3 year agreement with Alpine. Labor Day weekend all three years.iamica wrote:I heard PJ signed a 3 year agreement with Alpine as part of the compromise over letting those who attended bring in their own food (which was a brilliant idea, by the way, since the food in there was so expensive).

Totally agree.Seen the Best Rock Band on the Planet a few times here and there.0 -
Just booked a room at the AV resort. The girl who took my reservation said she had not heard of any news of a concert for labor day weekend. I was told rates have not been set as of now. I was at PJ20 and I really hope it happens again. I mean what will it actually take away from PJ20. Knowing that this may become an annual occurrence gives us something to look forward to. I am sure a US tour will follow once the new album is released.0

With that said, hoping I will get tickets, I have already made my room reservations at The Hampton Inn in Elkhorn. 7-10 Minutes away. They have 5 Rooms left so if you are remotely considering this weekend I would make reservations to assure you are close to the venue.

why the hell would PJ compete with the shitty DMB? thanks but ill pass. If im going to travel any significant distance to see them...they are going to be the main headlining act. I hate DMB. Besides doesnt DMB have a big fanclub that gives good tix as well? That means less for tenclub. It wouldnt be nearly what PJ20 was or meant...and therefore shouldnt be fucked with...especially so soon after
Bring on a full US tour with dates in most all states...not just the east and west coasts. This has been all too expensive of an obsession...especially with having to travel to shows...get hotels...and take time off work. Give me tours like 98, 00 or 03 where I can go to 5-10 shows within reasable driving distance...Seems that needlessly it's getting harder

Are we getting something out of this

If it's true that PJ is playing Alpine, I'm sure they would be booked separately from DMB. I don't think PJ is playing along with them.Mid-America Center Council Bluffs, IA - Jun 13, 2003

The person isn't saying pj is playing with DMB and phish. They are saying that their were rumors of DMB and phish playing at alpine and now both those rumors were confirmed because both bands have already announced it.0 -
I honestly didn't think Alpine Valley was that great of a venue.
IF this is true and it is the only USA tour dates again like last year then I'll go...otherwise I'd much rather see Pearl Jam at a better venue.8/29/00, 7/3/03, 5/24/06,6/28/08 & 6/30/08, 10/9/09,10/28/09, 10/30/09 & 10/31/09, 5/15/10, 5/17/10, 5/18/10, 5/20/10 & 5/21/10, 10/23/10 & 10/24/10, 9/3/11, 9/4/11, 9/11/11, 9/12/11, 9/23/11, 9/22/12, 9/30/12, 7/16/13, 7/19/130 -

I find this very hard to believe. But I would be all for it! Day after wrigley would be the logical date. Soundgarden is in Europe early Sept so doubt it be labor day weekend. What does your friend do at Alpine?I'm a Truck wrote:I heard something was in the works today from my buddy at Alpine.

Selling season ticket packages. He said he heard PJ mentioned a couple times yesterday. Not saying anything.... But not shooting it down either. He's the one who told me about PJ20 almost 2 months before it was announced.primussucks wrote:

Ya your talking about Michael Caulfield. Anybody can call him and ask about season tickets and he tells who's playing. If he isn't confirming pj then he is just trying to sell season tickets. That's his job.I'm a Truck wrote:
