Whatya think of this one? Read alot of complaints about it. Mine didn't have the QC issues that others had. Not the best vinyl I've ever heard, but it has some great moments.

Are there any decent reissues out there?? I love this album and it would be great to add to my vinyl collection, but if the sound is crappy, I'll pass. I didn't get the Nevermind reissue because everyone complained about it. How are GIsh and Siamese Dream? I'd really like to pick those up, but I won't if the quality sucks.

I love to hear of the vinyl reissues since it allows me to get these at reasonable prices but it seems all I hear lately are that the quality is not as good compared to the original pressings.

The mail came shockingly early today and the mailman rang the bell and I knew what it was. I like how the giant envelope says DO NOT BEND PLEASE all over it and they still manage to bend the envelope a little. The cover of the album is bent a bit, but the record looks like it was played maybe once or twice, in excellent shape.

Can't wait to spin it later!

The Southern Harmony that I have is actually decent. Alot of the QC issues were bad presses, mishandling at the factory and the packaging. I think I actually got one from a second batch, as I had to wait on it for a bit. Like I said the sound could be better. It tends to muddy up during the denser parts, which I think are fairly few on this album.

I've heard good things about the Gish and Siamese Dreams reissues, which is cool, b/c I've never been blown away by the ones I have.

Reissues are such a hit and miss thing b/c sometimes bands don't have control and even then sometimes they're just cashing in on the trend.

I can only speak on Siamese Dream because I don't own Gish, but I think it sounds great.

I did not :( When I saw they were sending them out I was really hoping for one, but unfortunately I got a normal one.

I know they aren't official, but I picked up: Eddie Sings the Blues, 5 Alive and The First Coming. They are not bad. I like the sound of them.
