ron paul would crush obama in a federal election ... you can pretty much guarantee every republican would vote for him plus now all the dems that a) are dissatisfied with obama and b) are opposed to US foreign policy

    Watched his speech ...
so many promises, it made it too fake for me, not trusting this guy

none of the family could look the camera in the eye ...
gave me a funny feeling and not in a good way

I was thinking about SNL too and Mitt's facial expressions,
he's gonna be an easy, annoying one to do

there was a PJ fan in the crowd I think though ;)
sounded just like me hootin' and hollerin' at a concert

oh and a wasted vote ... Ron Paul? How about him be a running mate that might be a smart
move for the party... yes no? maybe so?

not a chance ... paul is the anti-establishment vote ... the republicans don't want him anywhere near the white house ...

That's exactly why I was thinking Ron Paul might be the only one with a really good chance.

I don't think Paul would crush Obama. Remember that only the older population are shoe-ins for actually voting, with exception of the last presidential vote. Not enough young people are on board with him, let alone the idea of supporting a "Republican"...

well I'm still learning but I was reading about a Canadian oil line into the US that Obama blocked and honestly I think that oil line could play a huge part of getting this country headed back in the right direction
and Santorum is behind that idea...but still looking into him for more info.

let's not forget about all of the seniors on medicare and social security who would be cutting their own throats if they voted for paul. and it is seniors who always vote...

Ah, I hadnt heard of that. Interesting. I'll have to look into that.
I have only heard potential extremist religious social policies, and that he seems to like the idea of war with Iran.

I'm not a betting man, but if I were I would take this bet in a heartbeat. "Ron Paul would crush Obama"...seriously? Ron Paul would have zero chance against the President. Zero. I'm not even sure where the political logic is coming from that would lead one to believe that Ron Paul's policies would go over well in Michigan, Florida, and Pennsylvania. It's beyond absurd.

i can't watch the video at work...

    BUT

if the man supports the paul ryan budget, he supports gutting medicare, medicaid, and social security. especially for future generations, thus cutting their throat financially and insurance-wise...how can people on those programs now support themselves if they have no savings and are too old to go out and find a way to make some income? what if people can not make enough money to have enough savings to live on, especailly as people are living much longer now?

the libertarian ideals look good on paper, but would be a tragedy if ever implemented.

the speech was great last night. alot of redmeat republican talking points. i heard he used a teleprompter for the first time since iowa. i guess an advisor must have told mitt that being himself wasn't working.
