a simple update would help (at least temporarily) calm our nerves.
Its just plain ignorance now. A total lack of respect to members of the Pearl Jam fan club.

Big hugs all around for all of you, even though this is a fairly odd situation, it once again only shows the multitude of different people and their beliefs on these here forums, and why I will stay a loyal member for the rest of my days.

You'll be fine Alistair. I'd imagine even if they pull the rest of the sale from CrowdSurge that the tickets sold already will be go through as normal.

Yes, they will. 10C mightn't have said anything themselves but they did post crowdSurge's comments to that effect, so they have endorsed them.

Just looked through some of the bands that use crowd surge. Who the hell are they and why would PJ even consider a rookie company?
Also, whoever made the boneheaded decision to go with this company should be fired. period. There are too many people loooking for jobs these days. This should've been the last straw for this individual after several ticket fiascos associated with the tenclub. Ladies and gentlemen, that is why you don't hire friends to run your business...
The only way to solve this disaster for them at this moment AND make everyone happy is to make sure that the amount of Tenclub tickets is bigger than the demand.. in other words.. they should reserve a thousand tickets more per show that won't be available in the general sale.. when all has been sorted out they can provide the fanclubtickets every one wants so no-one is dissapointed.. tickets left over can always go on general sale after this.. I mean it's not that they won't sell em....
So pls Tenclub.. reserve enough fanclub tickets per show so you are sure all now dissapointed fans will get what they want and deserve!.. this will solve all the frustration there is...
BUT if you hopefully do so... you will have to inform people BEFORE the general sales start because otherwise people will buy tickets there and they will be screwed again.. not being able to have an early entry on top..

I don't see that this would be possible. The allocations to the other ticket distributors have already been made.

I am not saying it would be easy or wouldnt cost them anything.. as any solution they come up with will probably have it's price... but I said it's they only way they can take away the frustration and stress there is now..
And I am sure on management level they can sort this out with those parties... they should at least give it their best shot... bacause in my opinion it's the only solution that will work given the time left..
An extra 2 hours of music for the Tenclub-members after doors close at each of the 6 shows!! I´ll buy Coffe and coke for the band to hold out ; ) Brilliant!!
Just looked through some of the bands that use crowd surge. Who the hell are they and why would PJ even consider a rookie company?
They've been around for 4 years or so now. They work with all kinds of artists, some better known than others - eg. Paul McCartney, Foo Fighters, etc..... As I said before, I've used CrowdSurge before and things have gone smoothly.
Am I the only one to fear that something bigger than tecnical issues might have happened? I'm not saying that I think someone has died or anything really horrible like that, but that there could be a reason why TC are not responding ...
But then again - Whenever my mum doesn't pick up the phone, I'm absolutely certain that she's had a stroke and is lying on the floor desperately trying to reach the phone, and then I find out that she's just been to get the laundry or something like that.
So it is probably just me :?

Yet we will all (myself included) continue to fund them. We'll renew our memberships, buy whatever merch they offer us.
And the powers that be at 10C know this.
At this point to not provide an update is a farce. A blatant lack of respect.

yes, lets be quiet about our true feelings. because if we exercise our first amendment rights here the board mods might not like the truths that have been spoke. and we may get bannished to the deepest depths of the itnernets black hole

As you can see from my post count that I haven't been a regular contributor on this forum but do scan through on a regular basis to see what is happening in the world of PJ.
I have been a fan of PJ for many years and listen to their albums daily but have never had the opportunity to see them in concert. At the beginning of the year I decided that it was about time that I stopped just listening to their music and get along to their next UK gig so this year I became a member of 10C.
When news of their UK gig was announced I was so excited, presale could not come quick enough. After spending 3 hrs trying to get tickets only to come away, like many others, empty handed, checking my e-mails every 15 minutes to see if there was news of when the tickets would go on sale again and the stress of not knowing what is happening or when it will happen, I can honestly say that I am upset and annoyed at the way this has been handled.
I have friends who never been on the forum and probably do not even know that 10C exists that have tickets and that is just through their mobile phone provider.. Maybe next year I shouldn't renew the membership here and just take out an o2 contract, I will probably stand more of a chance of seeing PJ by doing that.
I know that 10C and Crowdsurge will be trying to sort this issue out but to not update the fans is an absolute disgrace. I honestly believe the band themselves would be disappointed knowing that this has happened and that their fans are being left out the loop so I do hope that there will be some sort of intervention from them to get this resolved quickly.
I am sorry for my rant but I need to speak out as my wife has now stopped listening to me :?
